Struggled with rating here as I would like to add a half star but did not feel our dinner was a 5 star. We ate a little early on a Friday night and was able to order appetizers at half off for happy hours. Crab cakes were good but nothing to write home about so we will probably try something different next time. For dinner I had Mr Mao’s Chicken Salad and hubby had Beef Bristo Tender with peppercorn sauce. My salad had great flavors and the dressing wasn’t so heavy it overpowered the salad. The quantity was large enough that between it and my one crabcake I was stuffed leaving. Husband’s plate was a beautiful presentation and cooked exactly as requested! Some of the veggies were perfectly cooked while others could have used a little bit more time. Flavors were awesome! Biggest problem with this plate was the big chunk of meat sitting on top of the mashed potatoes and veggies which made it very hard to cut into and get bite-size appropriate pieces. All in all a pretty great meal! The only thing we felt was lacking perhaps some bread to go with dinner. We will try it again to see if our next experience is just as good.

The owner/staff at LuLu’s are amazing! They recently held a free party for foster parents and children from Chelan and Douglas County. The staff was very nice and polite! All of the families in attendance reported that they had a great time! THANKYOU LuLu’s! You have earned a lot of new fans!

Some of the best food around. Build your own Bloody Mary on Sundays. We stop here when we are in town. A must try. All food made fresh. Always a 5 star meal and experience.

Food was good, but the service was SLOOOW… and we were the only people in the restaurant.

Best burger I’ve had in forever!!! The type of food you’d expect from the chef that served the celebs in Hollywood. The reviews I read about the staff did not disappoint, and the coconut cake for desert was top notch. It’s very unassuming being in a strip mall, but I’m definitely coming back.

Very friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and AMAZING food! The fries & Belly Bomb Burger were a huge hit! The homemade bacon jam was delicious too. Definitely going to go back when we’re in town!

We embarked on our first visit to LuLu’s, looking forward to the Bloody Mary bar we had read and heard about. Unfortunately, we did not get to experience the full menu, nor the Bloody Mary bar, as the chef was out of town. However, the individual Bloody Mary was quite tasty as was the brunch foods we ordered. Hoping to get back when the chef is back in town sometime.

Go, and if the special is the ribeye steak with fries, you better get it! Although, you can’t go wrong with any of the menu options. Love that they have a full bar, too!

Best restaurant in Wenatchee. I’ve had the hummus appetizer plate, coconut shrimp, the bacon salmon concoction, seasonal white fish, Mr. Mao’s salad, and it was all wonderful. Everything was seasoned beautifully. You can really tell the chef knows what he is doing. Top quality food at a great price. I’m shocked this restaurant doesn’t get more traffic. Oh also his signature coconut cake is out of this world!

I was not very happy with my wrap but my waiter was super nice about it and offered to exchange it for something else. I love the back décor. It’s sort of hip. I would go back for happy hour only.

Best place to eat in Wenatchee area! Service is excellent, and staff is friendly. Love the open kitchen and the food is made fresh, not something you find in other restaurants in the area. I will be back often!

Great find in Wenatchee! Whenever we drive over the mountains to visit friends in the area, we try to stop in at Lulu’s and have a bite(or two). This place deserves to be on «the strip” – Wenatchee Ave downtown — but is located just a few minutes away in east Wenatchee. Great mood from the get go, with it’s inviting stylish bar/lounge area and the bright airy dining room adjoining. The menu always reflects what’s fresh and current, and every bite proves it. Favorites include any of the salads(but especially the«Valley Girl» and the Cobb); the Beef Bistro Tender with peppercorn sauce, both the Mediterranean Chicken and the Cuban Chicken and the salmon. We haven’t had the opportunity to try their brunch yet(with their«Make Your Own» Bloody Mary Bar)…but it’s only a matter of time!

Outstanding in every way. Great staff, food, and cute decore. Don’t let the outside scare you it is spotlessly clean inside. Homemade bread and buns are amazing.

After reading somewhat mixed reviews about this restaurant on Unilocal,we decided to give it a try for lunch today. Other reviewers are right… Don’t judge a book by its cover. Outside, Lulu’s is very nondescript and plain. Inside, you are greeted with a full bar on your right and a neo-modern restaurant with an open kitchen on your left. Music was tasteful and kept to a true background level appropriate for the surroundings. You could hear the music but it didn’t interfere with conversations. Unlike some restaurants and lounges where the music is blasting so loud you have to yell to be heard by the person next to you, this is classy and appreciated. The menu was simple and not overly crowded or complicated but the selections were good and the multiple side dishes allowed for a nice customization of your meal. I ordered a chicken club sandwich with fries and my wife had a pulled pork sandwich with fries and cole slaw. It’s worth mentioning that the hamburger buns and the roll my sandwich was served on is baked in house. First, the fries are probably the best I’ve had in Wenatchee. Crisp, not over cooked and nicely seasoned with sea salt, they were really delicious! My chicken club was an actual all-white meat chicken breast, grilled and served with lettuce, tomatoes, and a nice amount of crispy bacon on that home made roll. The sandwich tasted fresh, light, flavorful and healthy. My wife’s pulled pork sandwich was loaded with meat on the fresh bun. Her fries were as good as mine but she kept complimenting the cole slaw. I sampled it,(one of the perks of being the reviewer, lol) and it tasted very fresh and light. No mayonnaise or other soupy sauces here… It was fresh cabbage, peppers, onions, seasonings, with a light pickled flavor to it. Service was good, not smothering but we were never ignored. We will definitely be back again for dinner and we are intrigued by their Bloody Mary bar on Sundays! Would have been five stars but our view outside the window for the entire meal were open dumpsters. Less than appetizing.

This was my first time to Lulu’s. I’d read prior reviews for some time and heard things, though tonight we were in East Wenatchee and decided to stop by around 6PM. It was a bit quiet, a few tables had people. To start, the décor is very modern with very dark tones and gold accents. My husband remarked about how dark the bathrooms were but I didn’t visit them myself. The kitchen is completely open for view which is different but nice to look at – the chef’s two young daughters were also on the premises but they often were milling or running around which I sort of found slightly dangerous. There were only two or three servers on, which I will get to later in the review. We were seated immediately and our orders were taken. Our server was nice though rather doltish, she didn’t really bat an eye that we’d never been there and only came back to serve drinks really. I ordered the salmon and my husband ordered the pork, we also got the crab cakes as appetizers(please see my pictures included!). The crab cakes though took 30 – 35 minutes to arrive ~ it had started to get slightly more busy by the time we got them from the kitchen. The crab cakes themselves were decent in flavor but the breading was just too much, it sort of stole any pizazz they might have had if they were less fried or less breaded. Our meals took slightly longer, we had been seated for almost an hour before they came out. The food itself was delicious, I really recommend the salmon and I did try the pork — very tasty. It took another fairly long time, about 20 minutes to actually get the bill. By this time the place had started to get even more busy and I believe our server was called over into the bar section of the restaurant and had gotten overwhelmed. I was going to see about their desserts or if they had a dessert menu(I did see cake and others ordering it) but it fell flat when there was no bill or chance to flag down the waitress in a timely manner. All in all, our bill was about $ 60 for two people which is alright. If you are looking for a little more upscale food place and don’t mind a wait on it, you should try this place. PROS: * Good food * Clean space CONS * SLOWSERVICE! * Beware of the running children
