Gusto Pizzeria

This is by far one of the best pizza/​sub shops around. Everything I’ve had has exceeded my expectations, but the best menu item by far is there home made chicken fingers. My boyfriend raves about them in a sub but I prefer the dinner that comes with a heaping mound of french fries and a side Greek salad. The staff is always friendly and delivery is nice and fast. Great place with good food and reasonable prices. I highly recommend this place for a quick and delicious dinner

Updated to say this: I guess it really depends on what you order. While the disappointment of my last chicken salad sub sticks with me, hunger and the lack of motivation to cook dinner prevailed last night and we ordered from Gustos.
I went with the chicken, broccoli Alfredo and my husband a wrap. This was my first time ordering a pasta dish from Gustos but #pregnancycraving. I was really impressed by this dish! It was flavorful, albeit a bit meager given the $ 9.25 price tag. There wasn’t a lot of broccoli but the broccoli to chicken ratio was in favor of the chicken so I can appreciate that. The bites of broccoli I did get were great, the size of the chunks was perfect and they were caramelized so they added some nice depth of flavor.
My husband didn’t specifically comment about his wrap but only ate half (which means that he was full) and that certainly does speak to the size of the wraps (always pretty generous.) We ordered some onion rings as well and the 2 I tried were perfectly crispy and tasted good, not oily and the coating stayed on after I took a bite.
I hope to bump this review up a star someday soon. Maybe I’ll even put myself out there and give them another stab at the chicken salad sandwich… we will see.

I would give them 2 and a half stars as my steak sub was GREAT… Problem one, the link to the on-​line menu must be from like the War of 1812, the prices were SERIOUSLY out of date. I THOUGHT I was going to be paying $ 7 for a steak sub and fries… However it was nearly $ 10. Ok fine, when I get their I was for a NEW menu, only to be told that they were revising it… Business clue CREATE AN UPDATED MENU or honor the OLD prices of the menu you were too apathetic to take off the web. The fries were wretched. GREASY with all that coating crap on it. Places should get rid of those gross things and stick with steak fries, simple plan and delicious :). Probably will not return, despite the fact the employees are very nice. There are better places in Weymouth for subs.

Edible food but nothing that would make me order again. Yesterday night I ordered from here the first time. The curly fries came in soggy, the grilled veggie calzone was worst of the lot. It had mostly chewy, dry, garbage pieces of eggplant that we had to toss out and it was just a cheese calzone. I ordered a meatball sausage sub which turned out okay. Thus most of the stars.

Always great service and food. The steak tip salad, turkey gobbler and calzones are all amazing. The food and service is consistently great. Definitely recommended!

Glad i found this place on Unilocal.They make top-​quality Calzones. I ordered the Buffalo chicken calzone and was top notch. Definitely would try out their other items on menu. I could see this place more as a take-​out. The service is pretty quick, food is reasonably priced, quality is great and staff is very friendly. This place definitely seems to be a local favorite for pizzas, subs and calzones. Conveniently located in weymouth on pleasant street. My only complaint is considering a great pizza place, I wish they are open a little late on weekends so don’t have to rely on the pizza chains.

This pizza place is hands down probably the best in the area. Try the Buf Chix calzone, best I’ve had! The Pastrami sandwich is awesome too, not greasy and grilled to perfection. Pizza is okay. You can’t go wrong here, owners are usually there. Ensures consistency for all orders. Go get your Buff Chix calzone! They will give you both marinara and blue cheese to make a really tasty meal!

Definitely the best buffalo chicken calzone i’ve ever had, same goes for their pizza too!

Had a great wrap here today! Got the turkey gobbler but have had other delicious food from here before as well. Never been disappointed in a meal from Gusto. Yumm!!!

4 stars because food is always great. But I’d give a zero to the girls that work out front. Always have an attitude and never smile. I’ll always go back but don’t ever expect to see a smile. Doubt they expect any dollars in their tip jar.

This is my regular take out spot since moving to Weymouth. Best take out by far! The homemade chicken fingers are DELICIOUS, especially paired with their own goldfinger sauce. All of the «dinners» are tons of food and leave left overs for the next day. Fresh ingredients, good portions for a great price!

all the food I’ve got from here has been really good, but the taco pizza is unreal! I was a little taken back tonight tho, because the sour cream that I got with the pizza was sour — all 3 of them and this never happens here! I thankfully had sour cream in my fridge lol. I still wouldn’t give it anything under 5 stars because as always, the taco pizza was delicious and the kids loved the cheese pizza!

This is a pizza joint. Food was good and prices were reasonable. Will definitely be back — Seating area is kind of small — if you are considering popping in. More of a take-​out place.

One of the best around! Great food, high quality ingredients, and friendly staff. While they are a pizza place I would strongly suggest you explore the other items on their menu too. Their sandwiches are to die for!

One of my top three take out joints in town. I can’t get enough of this place. The homemade chicken fingers are a religious experience. Their chicken salad is exceptional, the best in town. I’ve never been disappointed and I’ve probably ordered from there around a hundred times.

The best pizza place in East Weymouth. The wraps are good, the pizza is tasty. Big fan of the calzones. The salads are fine. I don’t think i’ve tried any of the «dinners» yet but it’s only a matter of time.
The only downside is that they are closed on Sundays.

This place is great. Fresh ingredients and every item we have tried is delicious!!! We eat out from Gusto’s atleast once a week. Also the prices are very reasonable. Things you have to try are the buffalo tenders and the chicken parm dinner with ziti baked in the oven. DELICIOUS :-)

Pretty ok pizza. I wouldn’t call it «Greek style» like another reviewer mentioned, it’s more «thin crust”-ish. The sauce is a little on the sweet side, but the cheese was good and tasty. The Garden Salad wasn’t much like the menu’s description, just white iceberg lettuce, a couple of tomatoes and (literally) one piece of green pepper. No cucumbers or mixed greens. Delivery was fairly prompt. I wonder what the other items are like, but if the salad was any indication I wouldn’t expect much.
I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again, but it probably won’t be my first choice.

Second trip to Gusto Pizza and the pizza did not disappoint on either occasion!
I chose two classics: cheese and pepperoni. Both had just enough toppings. Delicious!
I chose takeout on both occasions so I cannot report on the staff, service, ambience, etc.
