I am a tech person, but I do not get the idea that everything must be done online. Yes, these guys do not have a website, but it is probably because they do not need one. Everyone in the neighborhood knows them and likes them. It seems to me they are always busy and their food is great. I am giving it 4 stars because I am originally from NJ and I am used to different kind(a better kind) pizza that is rarely found around Boston. About the«heavy accent» remark in one of the reviews: lady, are you calling to order food or to chat with the cook!!! The way things are going in the future you will be lucky if you are able to talk to any live person.

After giving this place another try I was dissatisfied yet again. The chicken wings were poor quality with no breading on them. They were just tossed into the fryer with no seasoning either. I got an antipasto salad to share and both of us agreed that the cold cuts were just like finding prepackaged Oscar Mayer in a supermarket. There wasn’t even any provolone cheese in the salad! The mortadella was replaced with Bologna. It was the saddest excuse for an antipasto salad we have ever had the displeasure of ordering. Sorry Weymouth House of Pizza you have lost a customer.

Love this place! My wife and I get pizza every Friday night — chicken cutlet and eggplant. The crust is buttery and delicious, the pizza itself is not greasy like other local pizza joints, and the staff is welcoming. I also like the honey Dijon chicken wrap for lunch.

Ordered a pepperoni pizza and buffalo chicken calzone. Pizza was a bit greasy for my liking but all pizzas have some this one more so. The buffalo chicken was ok I didn’t really get a kick of buffalo chicken. I might try them again

I’ve been going to Weymouth House of Pizza for several years. It’s a bit more expensive than other pizza places in Weymouth, but I feel like the quality is also much better than those other places. I keep coming back and I’ve never gotten anything I was disappointed with. Very friendly staff too, it’s clear the owner cares about his business. Toasted Italian sub, mmm

Great calzones and pizza. A hidden gem with great service. More of a Greek style pizza. Highly recommend!

Learn your lesson. Poor customer service, poor reviews. They don’t even care enough to have a website. I called to find out if there is a menu online so I could order and come pick up dinner. A guy with a strong foreign accent said to ‘try local business’, and hung up on me. Okay. I will try a local business. In Weymouth, and it will NOT be yours! If people don’t know what you offer, how can they order? BTW, the menu photos here on Unilocal… I can’t read them. They would need better resolution. Don’t be cheap, get a simple website, or put the damn menu on Facebook.

Ordered from here the other night, got a cheese pizza and buff chicken calzone. All I can say is HOLYGREASEBATMAN! A puddle of grease in the middle of the pizza, woke up the next morning with the worst stomach ache ever!

We got the pizza and mozzarella sticks. I called in a take out order and was told to be there in 20 minutes. 20 minutes after being there I left with our order. Their pizza was ok, nothing great. The mozzarella sticks had no cheese in them. The cheese apparently became separated from the breading creating a solid square block of cheese at the bottom of the takeout container.

WHOP is supposed to have a great reputation but my experience with them is not panning out so far. Just gave them a second try tonight… first time they were on time and the pizza was pretty good. Tonight they quoted me 45 minutes at 6:55 pm and my delivery showed up at about 8:10; that’s more like an hour and 15. The guy at the shop was pretty indifferent when I called at 8pm; the delivery guy seemed annoyed but not surprised. And on top of that my pizzas are noticeably different temperatures, like one was completely made & baked & then they started on the other one. I suspect we had kitchen trouble tonight, and for what it’s worth the pizzas are still pretty good aside from one being cold. I may give WHOP another shot sometime but I need to explore some other options in the area on my next few pizza nights. So far I’m having a hard time figuring out how they got such a great rep.

I first ran into WHOP fourteen years ago, when I moved to Jackson Square. Although I moved away in a little over a year and a half to Quincy, my bank was in Jackson Square across the street, and lacking a car, I’d take the bus down, do my business, and wait for the next bus to take me back. Often I’d drop in here for a bite. It’s set up, as best as practical, like a small Italian café/diner, and there’s a bit of an old fashioned feel about the place. There are only three booths and a couple teensy two-man tables. But I always enjoyed the pizza, and loved the huge subs they’d make(about half of which I’d always have to carry home for later!). (And speaking of old fashioned, what the hell? Gazing at another review, what kind of moronic Shopzilla zeroes out a neighborhood pizza place because they don’t have a website or a Facebook page, or because the gent answering the phone has the unmitigated gall to have a foreign accent? So you have a burning desire to know what they have on their menu? And you already have them on the phone? Use your voice and ASK. Although, if you think about it, anyone with an IQ higher than room temperature ought to be able to guess. Pizza. Subs. Calzones. A pasta dish or two. That sort of thing.) Anyway, I did the bank-pizza shuffle for ten years before I moved a hundred miles west, but I remember Weymouth House of Pizza with a smile.

The food is above average. Service is usually fast. Staff is friendly and often remembers me from previous visits. Personalized service is rare in the modern restaurant world. I would readily suggest them to anyone. I would have given them five stars, but it’s a pizza and sub joint, not fine dining, and the menu is limited. Avoid fried foods and stick to the pizza and subs. You can’t go wrong.

My husband and I get take away from Weymouth House every Thursday night — a large half cheese, half grilled chicken pizza :-) I’m a purist and judge a place by its cheese pizza(I actually have a pizza problem and might need therapy to overcome it). So he gets the extra protein and I get the cheese. He loves his side because he loves the seasoning on the grilled chicken and it’s never dry. I love my cheese side b/c I can savor the perfectly crispy Greek-style crust, flavorful sauce and gooey, slightly browned cheese. I moved to Weymouth from Hingham and Weymouth House is my new go-to, now that Crow Point is too far. I’m not even a little sad b/c the pizza makes me just as happy! I also enjoy their wrap sandwiches. The buffalo, Greek and Chicken Caesar wraps are all very tasty.

Let me start off by saying that if you call it a «Caesar Salad,» you shoulnd’t be using Iceberg lettuce and shredded mozzarella cheese. Just saying. I got an Italian sub that after eating half I had to put down because it just wasn’t good enough for me to want to eat the rest. My boyfriend loved his Buffalo chicken sub with bacon though. Meh.
