the attendant was very rude, belligerent and Pugnacious. I asked to speak to the manager and the manager did not come out… I asked numerous times and no response… who is in charge of the service and appearance in this store… it is obviously a dump! I still have not spoken to the manager.

It’s KFC… not my favorite but my son loves it and I like the potato wedges. They screwed my order up earlier and were very apologetic and friendly while resolving it. Their new FLG sauce was very addictive. Their chicken strips were pretty good

I went through the drive thru a few times and they messed up my order. Instead of giving me the Mac & cheese, like I ordered(and they even repeated it back to me) they gave me the greasy fries. I didn’t turn back becuz i was already leaving & did not feel like going back thru the drive. If you get a drink, remember to ask for NOICE becuz they fill your cup up with 75% ice and 25% beverage. Its ridiculous. The chicken is often very greasy and mostly fried. I suggest getting the grilled. The fries are good but very salty. The food there seems over priced with rarely any discounts or great deals :(

If this isn’t the most poorly run and pathetic KFC in New Jersey then it has to be be in the top 5. I’ve braved ordering from this KFC4 or 5 times in the past 3 years in the hope that owners, management and kitchen equipment have changed for the better only to be increasingly disappointed. Service, if one can refer to it as such, is dour, antagonistic and lacking in not only the basics of manners and customer service but also the basics of English as orders have to be repeated slowly, cognizant of the fact that it’s more than likely going to be wrong anyway. Your chicken is almost thrown at you with no offer of condiments, napkins or thank you to ease your already less than pleasant ordering experience, only to be confronted with a product that appears to have been cruelly dispatched with a base ball bat before hitting the fryer. This is ugly and unappealing fried chicken. Allow me to expand on that last sentence… I’ve grown up on KFC and have happily dined on it from the Caribbean to Scandinavian with not the slightest deviation in quality, taste or seasoning… until KFC Heightstown. The extra crispy is anything but, with the breading loosely attached due to the excess of grease… it’s as if the pressurized fryer is lacking in heat, pressure, maintenance, attention or all of the above, Chicken parts are uneven in that breasts are huge but at times wings and legs appear to have come from some strain of pigmy bird and all parts appear beaten up, mishandled and uneven… not by any means first quality with broken bones and visible blood lines. Perhaps this location has a «alternate» and less expensive supplier? Slaw is still up to KFC’s standard but the popular mashed potatoes is bathed in hardening and overly thickened gravy or perhaps it’s just old and stale. There is no viable alternative within 30 minutes of Hightstown when it comes to fried chicken so I venture this location meets or exceeds it’s ability to survive but I would rather brave Route 18 or Georges road with it’s choking traffic to eat at a excellent Popeye’s than to further waste precious calories and the risk of bad attitudes and bad fried chicken at this KFC.

The food was fine and the staff was friendly, but everything took them forever and they were seemingly out of half the menu.
