My massage itself was excellent. The practitioner used just the right amount of pressure, and confirmed that the pressure was just right. That being said, there was a mishap during my massage. A lamp fell off a shelf and actually hit me in the head! I was ok but for a headache, but needless to say the relaxation I had hoped to gain from the massage was now dashed. I expected Tybee’s Massage to not charge me after getting hit in the head by a falling lamp(I had a headache for several hours) but they redeemed my Groupon and never offered anything except to make me another appointment. Um, no thank you. Which was disappointing because but for the lamp incident the massage was great. But I’m not going back to a business that has the room set up to where this could happen, and then not do anything about it after it did.
