Mid-sized local hardware store. The folks working there seem knowledgeable. It’s nice to have them nearby and I prefer to get most of my basic hardware needs from them, rather than a corporate big-box store.

I’ve been to this location a few times in an effort to support a small business. I have SEVERAL other options to buy some of the items I’ve come here for. Each time I come in here I get treated like a thief. As I’m waking the aisles trying to find what I’m looking for, I’m followed. When I walk in there is no one standing by the door to provide loss prevention, but it’s funny how when I get to the check out line, which is right by the exit, all of a sudden there is an employee standing by the door, watching me. On top of that, I have their customer loyalty card which shows that I’ve been there more than once! I don’t shop at ANY business that treats me like a criminal.

I just moved to the area recently! I just wanted to say how helpful the folks at True Value are, one in general is a gentleman named Victor. He is very knowledgeable about most everything you need and has a great sense of humor, which I find priceless! A very reasonably priced place to shop when you don’t have to go to the big chain stores. I’m sorry for not mentioning the other staff, I just don’t know their names. Keep up the good work and thanks for answering all of the silly questions.

The service and convenience at this hardware store clearly beats any big box store experience. And unless your building a house, the selection here is more than adequate for any weekend pro-sumer.
MaryBeth manages the store as if she was your long time neighbor! Can’t say enough good things about my experience thus far (around 5 visits).
BTW, if you are looking for an XL BigGreenEgg, you should definitely shop here. Even if you are in NYC, The selection and personalized service is worth the trip for this big purchase.

It’s so nice to walk into a hardware store (where I don’t spend a lot of time) and get individualized help from friendly, knowledgeable staff.
I’ll avoid Home Depot like the plague and just come here instead.

They have gotten more all grain supplies (bags of 2 row, grain cursher, and even some blichmann equipment).
Also, I went to buy a glass caroby and realized their prices are pretty low, a good bit lower than other homebrew stores in the area.
