Quilter’s Palette is definitely worth the drive if you’re on the Cape. When your GPS guides you through a quiet neighborhood don’t be nervous, you’re going the right way. Promise! As I approached the driveway and followed the clearly marked signs directing customers toward the back of the house, I wasn’t sure it was going to be worth the while but I was so wrong! It’s a small shop located on the second floor of a private residence but it is really worth checking out. There are so many great fabrics here. They’ve got the latest Robert Kaufman prints, Carolyn Friedlander textures, plenty of Kona Solids, modern juvenile prints, traditional Japanese fabrics and so much more! I really liked that they had some display samples on hand too, for reference and inspiration. Prices are comparable to other local quilt shops and some were even lower priced. The day I visited, Mrs. QP was under the weather so Mr. QP took care of me and he was quite the funny guy and I was very impressed with his quilty knowledge. Hours aren’t listed on the website so be sure to call ahead if you’re not close by.
