What a great find! Right next to hard wear store u might pass right by it! But don’t! Great selection of yarn from low to high level quality & prices! The owner is so helpful and knowledgable as well as her staff! And patient! I love that I don’t have to make a long trip to go find quality! What a treat

Yay, what a cute little yarn store. The selection of yarns and needles and crochet hooks is very good and the prices are fair and the woman behind the counter couldn’t have been more helpful and patient when she was helping me find yarn for a specific project I had in mind.
I only wish they carried a larger selection of multicolored bulky weight yarns. But that’s really my own personal preference and doesn’t reflect poorly on the store, so whatever.
The Yarn Basket is definitely a good place to know about on the Cape.

So while I was walking with the BF to his grandparent’s cottages, I notice, right next to the lunch box place, a little yarn store called Yarn basket. «We need to go here sometime before we leave!» I yelled to my BF.
Needless to say we did.
It was beautiful! They had so many interesting yarns, I had to buy some yarn, even though I had no idea what I wanted to use it for. The older woman behind the counter was extremely friendly! And she wasn’t put off at all when I mentioned I crochet only (a rarity in LYSes!) There was also a huge bargain bin right out front, patterns and yarn for only a dollar or two.
Next time I come to the Cape I’ll definitely be coming here!
