I drove by this building a few times and then saw them on …so I figured I’d give them a try on a Saturday evening. NOTE: DONOTJUDGE A BOOKBYIT’S COVERONTHISONE… the building looks like a wreck on the outside, but inside it is much nicer, and the food was EXCELLENT. The wife, I, and two little ones were a bit put off by very few cars in the lot and physical shape of the building, but inside we were welcomed and it was very comfortable… simple, but what you might expect from a typical pizza place. We got our menus and it is a situation that I have seen at more and more«pizza» shops where there is not simply pizza, but Italian and Spanish dishes as well. We ended up ordering a pizza for the kids… a Spanish /Costa Rican dish… and an Italian Dish. Pizza was very good… I’m going to say this… the crust is a bit different than a typical pizza crust… it was thinner and crisper than you might expect… I mean that in a good way for whatever it is worth… an adult male could probably polish off 3 pieces pretty easy on the 14″ small pie we got. The two dishes we got were the Ziti Richardielo off of the Italian menu(very good… Excellent…think ziti in a creamy vodka sauce with sausage)…and Costa Rican Nodles(in a nutshell… spaghetti pasta in a homemade sauce with peppers, mushrooms, ham, ground beef, etc)…the sauce was excellent and I made a pig out of myself. The presentation of everything was more upscale too… and with the dishes only costing $ 10 — $ 11…we were pleasantly surprised how good the dishes were(and looked) with a glass front door with a crack across it and window marker covering every square inch of the front of the restaurant. Subs are 5 – 6 bucks… and I should also add that they made everything to order(it took a bit for the pizza as they did everything only after we ordered it… nothing seemed mass produced). There was a salad bar(if you want to call it that) which was a bit of romaine and very few toppings, as well as soup and some homemade side things(the homemade potato salad I was wondering what it would taste like… it was pretty good actually… mind you it was the first thing I ate here and was leary at my first impression from the outside). In a nutshell… I took a take out menu and plan to go back… the prices were too good… the quality was too good… and the taste was too good to pass up this place when I’m in the area. I would go here again in with my family for sure.
