Intimate live music venue. We saw the Abigail Washburn and Bela Fleck performance. Avalon should establish a policy about people getting up during the performances, as we had too many distracting exits that flooded the room with light and noise every time someone got up(to visit the restroom? get a drink?). Maybe go all Broadway, Avalon, and lock people in and out until scheduled intermissions.

This might be the most intimate venue I have ever seen a concert at. Wonderful place with a bar upstairs. All the staff were wonderful and helpful, moving my seats around and accommodating my ticket changes at the last minute. I saw Cracker there a month ago and will be back for the cowboy junkies. Parking is all over town and easy to find. hotels are everywhere in this little town. it is only 1.5 hours from DC so easy to get to. Any seat is good and close.

Perfect place to see great live music, hilarious comedians, or have fun on New Years Eve. I for one have done all of the above and this historic venue never fails to amaze me. My favorite experience at the Avalon was going to see Little Feat perform when I was about 16. This quaint small theater turned into a mad house when this great rock band took the stage. People were literally hanging form the balcony and dancing in the isles. If you’re ever in Easton just drive up Dover Street and browse the billboard out front. There will always be a good show coming up or probably that night for you to see.

Excellent, small venue to see live music. Nestled in the historic district of Easton MD, this place is a treasure to visit. Check out their profile on Facebook.
