My son and his wife got married in a very small ceremony. We held the reception dinner at Batuque. From the moment I called the service was wonderful! The staff here is friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent, the sangria was delicious and the service was first class! They even set up a table for the wedding cake for the baker to bring in. Everything from start to finish could not have gone more smoothly. We will definitely be repeat customers! I highly reccommed Batuque for a night out or a small gathering of any kind!

From the moment we stepped in the restaurant, we were greeted and sat quickly. Everyone was friendly and Chef Mike really had our tastebuds singing. He has a real talent for creating flavorful meats. The hot sides we ordered were exquisite and cooked beautifully. We plan on returning again and again.

This place is great! They have a full menu so you can bring people who don’t want the all you can eat meat option. The salad bar is better than other brazilian steakhouses in the area. They also have nice side dishes such as: fried bananas, yucca and cheese balls. They even have grilled pineapple after your meal. The owners keep this place very clean and organized. The wait staff is very attentive and made our experience nice. I highly recommend Batuque if you want authentic brazilian at a very reasonable price.

This place was horrible. The meat was over cooked, bland and dry. The water they served was tap water. The sides were either greasy or had no flavor. I wasn’t impressed with the salad bar either. I think there was only 6 options to choose from. We went on a Saturday afternoon and there was only one other table filled besides ours. I would not come back here again. I’d rather drive 1.5 hours to Philadelphia and go to Fogo de Chao. Way better!!!

There’s nothing better in the cold winter months than«meat with a side of meat.» This was our third stop and again they did a fantastic job — food, service, value this place is a «home run.» Since I’m a gluten free person, I’ll at least take the opportunity to tell you which items contain gluten on the rodizio so you can avoid them. The staff is aware of what is and is not gluten free, so they can assist you(or they can consult the recipes). Like anywhere, be aware of the risk you take when dining out, which any gluten free person is well aware of. Things to avoid: — Turkey wrapped in bacon — Chicken — Garlic and Parmesan Pork — In general all poultry and pork(with the exception of the pork ribs) — In general the beef is all«prepared without gluten»(an important distinction) The server of the rodizio, Reuben, did a great job with all my dietary needs and was very friendly during our visit. Another great experience. We love it here and I’m sure we’ll return. For more on the venue check out my previous reviews.

Went to Batuque for the first time this month, joined by my boyfriend, and my cousin and her family of four. This was my first Brazilian steak house experience, so I was unsure what to expect, but also excited to enjoy the experience. We went Saturday afternoon for lunch and, besides a party of 18, we were the only others in the restaurant. The exterior of the building looked a bit sketchy and unappealing; however, the interior was quite the opposite. Each of us ordered the rodizio. They offer a full self serve salad bar, but during lunch hours they do not fill the salad bar –bringing out small dishes of your selected salad bar options for you instead. We requested three items from the salad bar choices, which included mashed potatoes, chicken salad, and an egg salad. All were quite tasty and fresh. The meats were brought out soon after. At first taste, we all agreed they were well done and dry, as opposed to the medium rare we had asked for. The steak meats all appeared to have the same flavor, all leaving an unpleasant weird aftertaste. The best and probably only meat selection I enjoyed was the bacon wrapped steak. After about 40 minutes of perhaps 6 or 7 different selections of meats(bite-sized portions of each), the meats stopped coming out altogether. We waited another 40 minutes to receive one more selection of meat, after having to ask for it. Then sat another 20 minutes, with no service. We gave up on trying anything further. The visit started semi-positive, but did not end on the same note. I’m sorry to say, it’s not a place I’d visit again. The food and experience wasn’t worth the money.

Our food was really good but our service was just«eh.» They did make up for the«eh» with a free round of drinks, so they did try their best & I’m sure we’ll be back. We sat down and was told that our server was being trained. This normally isn’t awesome, but also normally the person training them helps a little more. A lot of little things got dropped during our visit. Forever and a day waiting for drinks(we were very close to the bar so we got to watch them sit), mixed up food order, wonky speed(our dinners showed up before I was even half done with my salad & appetizer), etc. The food, however, redeemed it. I loved that they offer options other than rodizio; I want some meat, not entire cows, pigs & chickens, tyvm. Started with the veggie pastels and a salad(hubby had the broccoli cheese soup) before my Sautéed Chicken Brazilian-Style showed up. It was delicious, but my husband’s Pimenta Steak stole the show. The steak was so tender & the heat was perfect. We had the chocolate mousse dessert which was good but nothing crazy. We’ll be back, but I’m hoping to get a better server next time!

There were 6 of us(adults) on a Friday night for dinner. The place was nice, not fancy but tastefully done. It was empty as well but I think it was more because it was the day after Thanksgiving. The waitress was very nice and attentive as were the servers. All except one of us ordered the Rodizio. The one that didn’t doesn’t eat meat but she ordered a really nice pasta and shrimp dish that she enjoyed very much. The Rodizio was very good and we were all quite pleased. Some of the chicken and pork offerings were a bit dry though which was unfortunate. The wine list needs real updating as it was almost non existent. I had a Malbac blend which was very average and starting to turn. We also had some polenta which was very bland(generally polenta doesn’t have much taste anyway but I thought it was bland even for polenta. That was the consensus at the table. The salad bar was very small but whatever we took was fine. You aren’t there for salad anyway. We were really too full for desert but we ordered one Crem Brule for all to share. This was quite excellent and didn’t stand a chance. I had a double espresso that was luke warm and my friend ordered a regular coffee which was burnt so that was a bit of a disappointment but overall it was a very good place that I would go to again if I want a meat feast.

This was our first visit to Batuque and it won’t be our last! We were a party of 9 with 3 of the party 12 and under. The food was fresh and tasty. The service was spotty although friendly but it seems our server might have been new. The drinks were slow and we weren’t really given enough opportunity to order additional sides, they come family style. But the food will make us return. The highlight were the desserts. We tried the crème brûlée, amazing, passion fruit mousse, really refreshing and the chocolate ganache creation, yummy! It would’ve been nice to be able to order bottles of wine since there were 5 of us drinking wine but the wine was good and not overpriced for a glass. Really good caprinhas. I recommend this restaurant highly. The owner and chef came out to speak with us, she’s from Brazil and is very interesting to talk to.

Food was good, not great though. Hard to compare to the Brazilian food I’m used to growing up in Newark NJ. As for the Rodizio, the top sirloin and skirt steak was the best. The salad bar was pretty good but the collard greens were very bitter. The Shrimp Bobo was yummy but nothing to crave. Service was awesome, can’t complain about that. I went on a Friday night and it was not that full. A live band might liven up the place.

Ok So let’s get this out right away. Batuque is not Fogo De Chao or Brazzaz($ 50 rodizio compared to under $ 30 here). Don’t come here expecting that. They’re not priced that way! What they are is our very own Brazilian restaurant in Easton! You don’t have to go anywhere! They’re in your backyard! The food is great. Plenty tasty and obviously fresh as they’re making it for you as you sit there. If you’re not entirely satisfied with some of the flavor, ask the guy to kick it up a bit! They’re that friendly. They’re easy to get in and out of. The décor is pleasant and relaxing. The food is good, The deserts are fantastic, and the staff is friendly. No complaints here. Go enjoy your meat parade.

A great place! Gabriella, our server, was helpful and attentive. Décor was fresh, the feel was very comfortable. Loved everything from the house salad dressing and on. Gabriella was very helpful explaining each dish that was asked about. Will definitely go back! My one small glitch was the food came out too quickly. Overall, awesome!

Popped in with business colleagues for lunch today. Happy to see they finally got their full liquor license, because the bar and 2 «lounge-style areas» in the dual bay windows look like a perfect place to hang with a nice drink. Really nice and well priced lunch, with an ability to order off their lunch menu, or full blown Brazilan steak-house fare. I have heard the the«all you can eat steak» is the way to go, but seriously — I would have fallen asleep after that for«lunch». All 4 of us said we’d go back. Only thing about the 5th star– I though the back ding room — in spite of being tastefully appointed — appears too cavernous and sparse, unless the area was full. I’d suggest making mini living room style area in back, so even if not full, it creates more intimacy. Service was awesome. Owner Tony and his wife are gracious hosts.

Service is fantastic, friendly, and on top of things. Literally everything is fantastic foodwise, from salads, appetizers, to meats. Variety is great. Get the buffet. It’s worth it. You have to try everything and get the full experience. Save room for dessert included at the end!
