What a miserable experience I had using their pharmacy. When I arrived, I was the only customer standing in line waiting for one of the four people behind the counter to acknowledge me. Everyone there seemed to be well trained, in avoidance! They carried on without ever looking up, almost as if to say, «why don’t you get lost». When I finally got one persons attention, she made me feel that she was annoyed with having to deal with a customer. My doctor had sent my prescription over electronically. It seems they don’t check for them until you come in and ask, or perhaps when they get around to it. She pulled it up in the computer and then gave me a ticket with a number. I sat down in their waiting area to wait for my prescription. I wondered how I would know when my number was up. I looked around and I found where the numbers are displayed on a digital board. You can’t see it from the waiting area. Anyway, I waited, and waited. The number on the board did not change. Customers came and went, but the number did not change. One customer came in after I did and was also given a number. She was called up and waited on despite her number not being displayed. I was getting frustrated. Finally the number board displayed several new numbers, some lower than mine, and some higher. I’m like, what the heck. I got back in line and waited behind a few customers that were being waited on. When I reached the counter I asked what happened to my number. The clerk acted like she never saw me before, then went off to figure out where my prescription was. She talked to another person, I assume was the pharmacist. I overheard the problem was my medical insurance had changed and they needed my new insurance card. So, instead of calling my number or just asking me, I mean I was sitting right there, they left me sit until I got frustrated and came back to the counter. This all took about an hour. Now I was late for another appointment. I gave them my insurance card, and they took off with it. I waited a bit, but now I was really late and needed to leave. I ask for the card back and told them I had to go. Now they were intending to wait on me, and so did not give me back my card. Instead they left me standing there until they completed the prescription. I have to say this was one of the worst business experiences I’ve had in some time. I can only think of one other place where the treatment was this bad, the Department of Motor Vehicles, but even they have stepped up and improved their service. I was not the only customer that was unhappy this day. While I sat there and waited, I listened to others get upset when they found their called in prescriptions had not been processed. These people don’t have a clue what customer service is.

Items scan for a higher price than marked on the shelves. Many items are passed their sell-by dates. Sale prices are often not in the computer. All in all a lousy shopping experience.
