McDonald’s

Just be forewarned, a «medium» drink here is actually what the rest of the world considers a small. At least when it comes to iced coffee. Granted it was only a $ 1, but I would be angry if I had paid any more than that for my tiny iced coffee.

(12/​13/​2013) Substandard even for a McDonald’s. Needed to get breakfast fast, and don’t usually do much fast food, but went for the old standby #1 Meal (Egg McMuffin, Hash Brown, Coffee). Sandwich was cold, unusually tough and chewy muffin. They put cream and sugar in my coffee at my request, but did not ask for my proportions (did they stop letting you do it yourself)? They were fast, though.

The staff went above and beyond today. My sister and I brought my nephew in and he wanted one of the batman toys. The manager (I believe that’s who she was) brought out the box of toys and let him pick out which one he wanted. She then was saying how they are running out of those toys and would have to switch to a new one too. She asked my nephew how many of them he already had, he stated none but that it was ok since he had other toys at home. This woman then told my nephew that if he promised to come back that she would give him all six for an early birthday present. What a wonderful thing for her to do. My nephew became ecstatic and thanked her. It is hours later and he is still talking about how nice it was for that lady to do.
