Great service with reasonably priced killer food. Very fast. The hash browns are cooked perfectly. I highly recommend.

Outstanding place. Excellent flavor in the meatloaf special. Delightful chocolate pie. Don’t show up too late. Seems they close at 8.

decent place– wonderful service. just your typical diner but I felt prices were a little high for the quality of food.

Good burgers and friendly staff. I had a screaming toddler and they got her some crackers to calm her down before the food came out. The menu was a little pricy $$ but there is not much competition around. Beautiful area next to a state park.

This place is awesome! We stopped in for breakfast after a camp out on Father’s Day and had a great time. Our party of 6 sat in the lounge and the food & drinks were delish. The homemade bloody mary mix was spot on and the Turtle Muffin breakfast sandwich I ordered was perfect to settle the hangover I was working with. The gravy for the chicken fried steaks was tasty and the drinks were just what we needed. The service is awesome here and Terry the owner is a hoot to chat with. We definitely will be back the next time we find ourselves in central Washington. Do yourself a favor & make this a pit stop! =)

The food was good. My 2 year old had chicken strips and fries, and Ihad a bacon cheeseburger. My son ate his dinner, which means it was good and met with the toddler’s seal of approval! My burger was good, but a bit juicy. Lots of water/juice dripped out onto my plate. It would be difficult to eat outside. Our server was outstanding. She gave us extra food for the road(at no charge) because my son’s chicken strip was over cooked. She gave him milk, in a to-go cup, at no charge. She was spectacular. I couldn’t have asked for a more compassionate, understanding person to take care of us. My only suggestion for improvement on the menu would be to add a fruit cup option as a side for kids. Right now it’s just 2 different kinds of fries and tater tots.

Friendly interstate diner, same lot as a gas station and convenience store. Attached lounge. Obviously a common stop for truckers and locals alike. Friendly service, always kept the black diner coffee flowing. Tasty looking pies and ice creams available. I had the eggs Benedict. While not mind blowing it was filling and definitely hit the spot after a long weekend of campfire cooking.

Went here for dinner last week and then again for breakfast a few days later. Pretty good food and great service. A little on the pricey side for breakfast though.

I live in Tacoma although was on my way to Yakima for some work related endeavors, hence it was like a mini road trip since it takes a few hours to get there. It was time to fill up the tank again and adjacent to the gas station we decided to go ahead and get a bite to eat at this café… definitely has an old school feeling to it, not really 1950s but more like circa 1990s road pit stop diner. Waitress was super nice, and their breakfast menu was pretty classic. I ordered an omelette and was super delish, the toast was not burnt and the coffee hit the spot. Prices are super reasonable and the waitress gave an extremely steep discount just because we were military… that was definitely not needed and obviously we gave her it back via tip. If you are on a road trip and are still east of the Cascade curtain, definitely check this place out for a pit stop.

The food is good. I had mashed potatoes last night, which aren’t bad, but wouldn’t qualify as great either. I had the mushroom swiss burger with seasoned fries today. very good. Worth the stop. Also has a very nice, cozy little bar in the evening and the drinks are very fairly priced. The restaurant closes early(7 p.m. last night, possibly only winter hours), which is a downside. I was asked to leave the restaurant so they could clean up, but was told I could sit in the«lounge» which is open until«at least» 8:30. In the lounge I found a very attractive and comfortable bar with a neighborhood pub kind of atmosphere including a full liquor bar. Both the bar and the restaurant are very clean and quiet with a very comfortable neighborhood atmosphere which I would certainly visit again.
