If I could give zero stars I would, 4 of our 6 entrée’s were inedible, cold, or didn’t come out. Avoid at all costs!

Wow! The pork tacos and chicken & waffles were amazing! My wife and I stumbled into this place on a whim after being turned away somewhere else due to not having a reservation. We’ll definitely be back!

Loved this local spot. The ambiance was super charming. All of the food was delicious. We had the fig and goat cheese flatbreads, Korean BBQ tacos, wings, center cut burger, bbcuban, kale salad. They were all really tasty and well paired with delicious brews and fabulous cocktails. Mexicali Blues, Holiday Sangria and spicy bloody were some of our favs! Staff was friendly courteous and knowledgeable especially Darlene. We came with a large group with kids. Kids and parents alike had a great time. A must go-to if you’re nearby and worth the trip if your an hour or so away!

While I’ve been going to Pearly’s for perhaps 15 years, I hadn’t visited in quite awhile since moving out of town. Stopped in for a drink on a Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised by the great beer selection and the friendly bartender who took the time to make recommendations and offer samples. I’d always enjoyed it here in the past, and this recent experience was even a notch up.

Can’t think of a bad time at Pearly Bakers. I come from the college so I eat here fairly often, probably once a month or around that. I’ve never had any issues with the waitstaff or the quality of the food. There is usually not much of a wait(if any) and they serve you pretty quickly. The manager is also simply a phenomenal guy with a great story. If it’s a slow night and he’s walking around, I highly recommend you ask him how he started his business.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Easton! We love coming here and chatting with Pippa, she is by far the best bartender we’ve ever had. She is very knowledgable with the menu and with the beers on tap… we can always count on a great suggestion. The food here is awesome and we always order new stuff. Stop by and see Pippa, you won’t be disappointed!(And we are very picky!)

My fiancé and I dined at the bar on a busy Saturday night and the service was outstanding. They have a good sized menu with a wide variety of food and drinks. As soon as you walk in you are over taken by phenomenal aromas of the food. One of my favorite things was the fries were not soggy but perfectly crisp.

Ok, my wife had a date night and decided to head to downtown Easton. We landed at PB. The wait staff was fantastic. We had Ashley and one of the best wait staff we ever had. My wife has food allergies, they brought out the manager Kim, who knocked herself out to accommodate my wife. The food was fantastic. I am considered a decent cook and my expectations are very high. I had the brisket and it was insane. The portions were huge. If you really want to judge a restaurant, I have a good measuring stick… Broccoli Rabe. I make a killer BR. This BR was slammin! My wife’s meal was also fantastic and cooked exactly as she asked it to be prepared. Home run for Pearly Baker’s.

We headed here after spending the day at the Crayola factory for some much needed adult beverages. It was across the street from Crayola which was convenient when you have 4 hungry kids and 4 tired, thirsty adults. We arrived around 5pm on a Friday and it was not crowded at all. They sat our party of 8 quickly and all of the drinks and food also came out fast. Try the Tot-chos appetizer, it was different and delicious!

The Pro’s: The food at Pearly Baker’s Alehouse was delicious! OHMMMGEEE. I walked in and just knew I was going to be disappointed with their selection. I had the $ 12 paella and it was heavenly. I can honestly say it was one of the best paella’s I’ve ever had. And for $ 12??? WHAT!!! Paella can easily run you $ 20+. The food also arrived pretty quickly. I was extremely happy about that. The Con’s: I was with a group of 10. So maybe the staff wasn’t use to such a large party. When we arrived, they quickly pushed some tables together. The waitress took our drink orders first. I ordered the sangria(and they were out), I then ordered another cocktail on the list(and they were out).after two failed attempts, I finally just ordered an underwhelming hard cider. The drinks took a while to get to the table. In the meantime, we asked for a pitcher of water. It took about a good 10 – 15 to get that. I was parched and over it. Someone in my group ordered the lamb burger(they were out of it)…someone else tried to order the lamb sliders(they were also out of that). For an early Sunday evening, why was this place out of everything? That kinda soured my experiences.

Many years ago back in the BC days(you know, before children) the old lady and I would frequent a fair amount of State Theatre shows and Pearly Baker’s would normally be where we would go for pre-show festivities. We hadn’t been in a few years and looking at Unilocal I was surprised to see only a three and a half star overall listing. Looking into this a bit more while cross referencing things with our most recent visit last month led me to the following thoughts: * There are clearly a lot of fake-shill reviews for this place which Unilocal is letting stay on their listing. Most are a few years old but there is no way this place ever got that bad just like there is no way that it’s five star either. * It terms of being kid friendly, with their current promo of kids eat for $ 1 I think that’s pretty kid friendly and people are dialed into it seeing as during our visit probably 2⁄3 of the tables had kids at them. The kids menu itself is nothing special but at the very least they let you sub sides very easy and the portion size for something like the chicken fingers is certainly not on the small side so now complaints here. * The lunch menu in particular really hasn’t changed much in years. Not to say that what’s there is bad, but at the same time I can remember several items being more or less the same from years ago. For the adult portion of the program, we both got some kind of a sandwich special that I forget the same of but it was good and the yam chips are not half bad either. On the downside, the idea of an over two dollar upcharge for fries is insane. * The menu is very well laid out and I can’t see how people could have a problem with it. If you have a common dietary restriction it’s listed. The upcharge for fries is listed. The upcharge for local grass fed beef is listed. If you didn’t see it, it’s probably not their fault. * The one knock on this place that I do agree with is the service. We came on a Saturday during I guess what you could call the end of the lunch rush and there were simply too many tables with too few servers getting stretched very thin. Also it didn’t help that our gal liked to hang out at the far side of the bar and chat with the bartender while refills were needed, plates had to be cleared, checks needed to get settled and not just from us. * The other disappointment is that they’re dessert menu is very weak. Vanilla and chocolate ice cream and two or three mostly chocolate centric items. With choices like that, why bother? * The music mix was odd. We went from Dave Matthews Band to at some point I think Ozzy to Air Supply. I don’t know how any of that works together or if SiriusXM has a new station that I missed but either way, odd. Overall PB is still solid as the prices are decent and the menu particularly from the alcohol point of view is very diverse. I wasn’t thrilled with everything but in the future no doubt we’ll be back.

Good selection of beers on tap. Kids menu has good options. I wish they had a bit more for the regular menu. Love the interesting seats they have here.

Any place that has gluten free options noted on their menu is a winner for me as my wife has celiac. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was good, and the prices were reasonable. We will be back!

I sooooo wanted to like this place since it was recommended to me by a coworker. The highs: Son of peach beer — awesome lighter tasting beer total score! French Onion soup — one of the best I’ve had The lows: Service :-( Fish special — it was«encrusted«- well not really. More like the consistency of stuffing and it was gross. I somehow got a big bite of pepper which was dumped into one spot in the fish. The asparagus that accompanied it was undercooked and too tough to eat. Molten lava cake — nothing molten about this cake and it wasn’t sweet and it was made with a bakers chocolate without much additional sugar which made it borderline bitter. Steak — meh… Under seasoned and overcooked. There was a giant piece of fat /gristle which looked like they cut it off but then it made it onto the plate. Broccoli rabe was also under seasoned and overcooked which I don’t understand since the asparagus was undercooked. The soda was flat and came with some long explanation as to why. Bottom line — $ 75 for two I wish I would have spent somewhere else.

Not much of a beer drinker myself, but I will sample craft beer because I am interested in the different regional components; the aromas, the diverse colors and textures etc, just like wine tasting in Napa! — But! If you come in and catch Lorenzo behind the bar(Saturday and Sunday afternoon and Monday evenings.) OMG! He is an A+ INCREDIBLE mixologist WITHBEER nonetheless! recommend!

Its ok. My friend likes it so we end up here every now and then. I’m always a little disappointed by the food. The few times I did like something, I went back and it wasn’t even close to the way it was the time before. The only thing consistent there is the inconsistency. With sooooo many other places in the area, its just not worth it.

Disgusting! I should have known to turn around(I almost did) when we walked in on a thursday night at 6:15pm and the joint was EMPTY! Oh my gawd this place was gross. I ordered a salad which had slimey gunk in it that resembled rotten lettuce and i was told it was peppers haha! I never knew«peppers» to be brown slimey strands, but ok if you say so, HA! Both our salads had so much dressing in them you could take a bath in the bowl! So gross! Plus they used the pre washed, dried out, lettuce garbage you buy in the bag from the grocery store. How lazy can you be that you cant even buy romaine lettuce, chop it up, and make a normal salad. Not to mention MAKE your own dressing and not just grab a bottle of Giant brand dressing and dump it on the salad like its ketchup! GROSS! I would much rather hit the drive thru at McDonalds than EVER hit this gross place again! The only saving grace of the night was walking to the glorious ice cream shop a block away and have a triple dip of their home made ice cream for dinner! So mad i pissed away $ 50 at this hole in the wall!

Pearly Bakers has become a staple for us to dine and drink in the Eason area. Their quality is never short of excellent and their service is fantastic. We’ve sampled several of their menu items the multiple times we’ve been here. The menu rotates seasonally and they strive for excellence in everything they serve. They also make it relatively easy for anyone with dietary restrictions to identify menu items that meet their needs(gluten free, vegetarian, etc.). In addition, they support local, fresh, sustainable sourcing for their foods. If you plan on dining here with any frequency or are local to Easton, get their Pearly Bakers rewards card. As you earn points, you can get coupons for free drinks, discounts, and other things. Their knowledge of beer and cocktails is top notch. If you have questions, the staff, especially the manager is well versed in everything on their drink menu. Be sure to check out the chalk mural behind the bar, it rotates seasonally. The art is always interesting and well done. This business prides themselves on quality and service. We’ve been here several times and have yet to be disappointed.
