The best part about moving somewhere new is finding these hidden places with great food. This is a really good sandwich spot. We were referred here by my finances co-worker and I have to say its pretty good! I have left a satisfied customer each time. The wait is at least 5 to 10 minutes but the sandwiches are fresh. The best part is that its pretty close to my house so now i know where to head for a good sandwich and coffee on early morning runs. Plus they sell beer!

This place is definitely more of a deli within a gas station. I stopped in here several times a month when I am passing through Easton. They have tables outside if the weather is nice and the service is always good. My coworkers and I have never been disappointed with the sandwiches here and the burgers are very good. Check out the Easton assassin and you will not be disappointed

The girls were chatting away behind the counter and they misplaced my order. It took a full 30 min to get my food. The girl that took my order left before I got my food. The food tasted ok but it was a bit expensive for being in a gas station. I ordered the leghorn sandwich. From the description I thought I was getting rotisserie chicken that was broken apart and grilled with BBQ sauce. In reality it was lunch meat that was sliced and grilled with BBQ sauce. I was not impressed with the menu or service.

Ugh. I should have known better than to order a chicken Caesar salad, disgusting. Spouses turkey sandwich was slightly better. Don’t do it b

You wouldn’t think this is a serious restaurant since it is part of a gas station, DONOTBEFOOLED! Pop’s serves a phenomenal burger with a neat atmosphere. The steakhouse burger was perfectly cooked and sat between two well toasted slices of french bread. The Peter Luger’s sauce was a perfect complement to the burger. They have an immense beer selection. Stop by on your next road trip and be pleasantly surprised!

We stopped here earlier this afternoon on our way back to nj at my boyfriends insistence. I protested slightly(it was the location and appearance). I have to admit they make a really great burger. It’s a hand made patty and it’s cooked to a juicy perfection. I am giving it an 8(which is a really high score from me). Don’t let the appearance of this place put you off!

Fresh burgers and great fries. Very nice staff. The tap room was separate so you can sit with your family at a table and not be in the bar. Could be cleaner, but definitely not a typical gas station environment.

My fiancé and I swing in every time we pass through Easton(which is a few times a year on our way from CT to eastern MD to visit her folks). The first time we went in I was blown away. We were looking for gas and a bottle of water for the road. We found a tap room and diner-esque menu. In addition to growler fills of the beers on tap they’ve got a great walk in cooler with both local and far flung craft brews. I can get a few CO beers from Pop’s that I can’t readily find in CT. The food menu is standard PA/NJ greasy spoon kind of stuff, but done well. If you like pork roll(Taylor’s ham) then try the Trenton, NJ sandwich. Great stuff. A lot of the reviews here seem to be docking points because it’s a gas station. But here’s the thing about that: it IS a gas station. Review it for what it is, not what you think it should be. I’ve never had better food from a gas station. I’ve never seen a gas station with better selection of bottled beer than Pop’s. I’ve certainly never been to a gas station that does growler fills of local craft brew. So as far as gas stations go, this is the best I’ve ever experienced.

weird location. Felt like eating at a gas station. Because we were eating in a gas station.

Food is good, especially the burgers. However, the service could be improved. Seems like every time we call in an order the deli is closed even though it is nowhere near closing time, and they always forget something, whether it be an order of fries or just requested sauces. Today, I ordered a shrooms burger and asked for american cheese instead of swiss, reiterated this to them twice… yup still had swiss on it :(

The breakfast wraps are to die for. But in all honesty it depends on who’s working. I’ve had the same thing multiple times and it’s always different when someone else makes it. That goes for everything, not just the wraps. I’ve been going here for a few years now and I’ll keep going. Just remember to them wraps, not burritos!

Live right down the street and had my first Pop’s burger. Had it to go and could not believe the heat from the food coming out of the bag. Burgers were very good. Cooked just right. Fries are great and more then a good size. All quality food. Very surprising good food from a place that has no appeal. Also the inside is clean with no smells(like burnt grease as you smell elsewhere). Yes I will be back!!!

Great food. Had the chicken cordon bleu sandwich. Good sized portions but nothing to write home about. The atmosphere reminds me much more of a convenience store than anything else but the food was good and the place seemed clean. I’ll go back again if I’m in the area but I wouldn’t go out of my way.

This place is awesome! Friendly service and delicious greasy food. Not to mention an axing craft beer selection. Don’t let the fact that it is in the back of a gas station scare you away. This local gem is not to be missed.

Stop here at least twice a month while traveling. Great heros Boars Head cold cuts. Gas cost is typically the avg cost. Big screen TV while you eat.

Agree with first review. Sandwiches are surprisingly good. Don’t judge it by the outside and give it a try!

I’m hungry for a good sandwich and bottle of beer. Hmm. Where to go… Oh, I know the PERFECT place — it’s just off the Easton exit of I-78. After you exit, take a right after you see the Phantom Fireworks superstore, and drive toward the landfill past the parking lot of garbage trucks. Wrinkle your nose and pull into the gas station lot. Still hungry? Hope so, because the sandwiches here are surprisingly delicious! Like, the«Trenton, NJ»(pork roll, cooper cheese, with fixins on a Kaiser roll) the«Easton Assassin»(German Beef Bologna — wait that doesn’t sound so great to me) and«Das U-Boat»(Virginia Ham, hard salami, swiss, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mustard and butter on a hoagie — sickly delicious!) Great selection of 100 bottled beers to take with you(or eat in the little dining room — they even have hot platters and salads as a respite from your road trip.) Don’t write it off just because it’s in an isolated gas station next to a landfill overlooking the interstate…
