My boyfriend has severe tonsillitis. We were 6 minutes late for the first ENT appointment and they said we had to reschedule because of their 10 minute late policy. Even though we were only six minutes late, the lady at the front desk said that by the time we filled out the new patient form (that no one specified to come early for) we would be officially late. There was no one in the waiting room to be seen, but apparently the doctor had a strict late policy and was adamant about keeping a timely schedule. We made another appointment. The next time we came we were fifteen minutes early. We waited for 50 minutes for my boyfriend to be seen. Apparently the ‘strict’ 10 minute late policy doesn’t apply to the doctor himself.
