I used Sonic for my wedding in Atlantic city on 5⁄3 and was excited to use CJ and staff because of their recommendation from a family member, value, responsiveness, and professionalism. The lighting was great and the DJ booth looked great the day of the event. However the DJ was horrible, absolutely horrible. His skill behind the mic were extremely limited, you could barely hear him and the music was far too low. Isnt it common knowledge that when its time to start really dancing(after dinner and the formal stuff) that the music should be turned up and the lights come down right? Apparently not because the lighting nor music volume ever changed from the bright house lights and nearly mute volume. Ooh not to mention he had no idea what typical dance music was for a room of 20 somethings. Also, isn’t it normal to throw in a slow song everyonce in a while? NOPE. Calvin Harris, Avicci? No except for the few songs we requested beforehand the guy played 2006 – 2007 era Q102 pop songs the entire night. I am really disappointed in the service I received and am pissed the DJ had no idea how to cater to our tastes. I guess he doesnt do weddings for 25&28 year olds very often…
