This mall never seems to give up. It was pretty desolate before Boscov’s came in. It’s usually filled with mall walkers or teens. It has your usual go to stores like Aero, Bath & Body and American Eagle.

If you know exactly what you want and they happen to have that store, you’d go to the Palmer Park Mall, otherwise it isn’t worth the gas. The have maybe 3 store that I would actually enter and the general crowd is not my scene. I prefer going to Lehigh Valley, The Promenade, or even down to King of Prussia if I need to do any shopping.

Palmer Park Mall has a few name brand stores, but is quickly becoming known as the cell phone mall. You have a verizon kiosk,(sorry no tech. support, just sales), an AT&T store, a Sprint Store, a few wagon cart cell phone accessory«shops» and an Authorized Dealer for Tmobile, etc. The Gertrude Hawk Store is amazing, albeit the size of a coat closet. The bookend stores for the mall are Bön-Ton and Boscov’s, which the latter always has great sales.

It’s a fairly small mall compared to others in the area but it has some of the key stores in it so you may not need to make the trek to Allentown to the Lehigh Valley Mall. It pretty much depends on what you’re looking for. In the summer, it’s a hot spot for the senior citizens; they come to the mall and loiter on the benches, getting ice cream from Dairy Queen every couple hours. It’s quite entertaining to see them walk up and down the mall area for their exercise.
