Don’t. Bother. It’s as though everything came out of the freezer and straight into the microwave to dethaw. The service was terrible as the girl behind the counter seemed annoyed and visibly bothered that we showed up for lunch. My veggie wrap was dry and the veggies didn’t taste fresh; more rubbery. Perhaps I went on an off day, but I don’t think I’ll be giving this place another shot.

First timer here and I really enjoyed my meal. The girl at the counter was really nice and helpful. They also have inside seating and will let you taste the soip before you commit to getting a cup.

3 stars minimum because I love Zoups. Would be more if they remembered to stir throughout the day so they the less popular options don’t become congealed.

I like the Cobb salad and a cup of soup. A half salad and a cup of soup are enough to fill a grown man for lunch. The one negative is the sandwiches are lacking. I’ve tried a couple of them and they were bland and skimpy. I much prefer Zoup over Panera though because I like the fact that I’m in and out at zoup in half the time and at half the price.

A cold snowy day… what better then a great bowl of soup. Actually earlier in the day we mentioned the desire for a bowl. When we saw the sign it was a great sign. Tried a few and decided. Very good. Wonderful for a snowy day. Will be back!!!

There aren’t a ton of healthy let alone vegan options in this area so I don’t give it 5 stars because its out of this world. They are always accommodating and everything is either clearly marked or easily identified in the cause of allergens or dietary restrictions.

Not your average road food. Good selection, helpful staff. Really enjoyed both the clam chowder and the tortilla soup.

Its like the dirty stepchild of Panera. We first walked in on a Saturday night around 7pm for a quick bite before a movie, half the chairs were on top of the tables, the vacuum cleaner obstructing the middle of the floor, minus an associate to operate. My fiancé commented, «It smells like a hospital in here.» She should know, being a RN, but not the clean, antiseptic smell, more like the foul, pungent oder of plastic bandages. We should have turned around but decided to give it a shot, walked over to the soup(?) if you want to call clumpy, greasy, luke-warm, Campbells straight out of a can would have tasted better, soup. I ordered the corn-crab chowder, it looked like it was made with gelatin and the sourdough bread was hard, cold and tasteless. I also ordered the ½ cobb salad which was made with the highly processed chicken you would expect from a fast food burger joint like McDonalds. It was topped with sour, brownish guacamole that you could tell was squeezed from a tube, ugh! We had to laugh at the picture on the wall that said something about«impeccable standards». Gross.

I order the Chicken Pot Pie with a sourdough roll every time. Not too expensive, staff is friendly, restaurant is clean.

Awful new addition to the shopping center. The seafood bisque soup I had was served to me cold, and just a mere glance at the nutritional facts book they had sitting on the counter for the soups could give you a heart attack. The sandwich was a meager size and served on cold, tough(read: stale) bread. Would not return here…

Ate here once and will never do so again. When the best thing you can say about a restaurant is that you like the wifi, that pretty much tells you what the food is like. I found this place to have very limited selections, and I had a completely unmemorable salad here. I eat a lot of salad — it’s possible to make them very good, with lots of flavor, interesting add-ins, etc. Zoup’s salad was just boring. They seem to be a Panera wannabe, but they fall far short. There is nothing interesting on the menu. I’d rather eat at the McDonald’s across the street. I don’t think it’s this particular restaurant that has the problem, it’s the concept in general. It just falls short of even basic expectations. Skip it.

Meh pretty much says it. On the plus side, the staff is really very friendly and quick, letting you taste as many of the twelve soups as you want before you order. The dining area was clean too. I had the ‘pick two’ combination, a small side bowl of tomato bisque and half a southwest turkey sandwich, and my husband had a full-size bowl of the spicy black bean chili. My soup was the best of the lot, not as salty as some of the others I sampled. His chili was kind of gelatinous in consistency … very much like thick spicy oatmeal. The sandwich wasn’t anything to write home about, and would have been much better if the bread wasn’t stale. Actually, all the bread we were served — the sandwich and both of the rolls that came with the soup — were stale. Only the fact that it was slightly heated and slathered with chipotle dressing saved it. The other rolls were left uneaten. We ate here because we were starving, having struck out with really long lines at our three previous lunch choices(holiday weekend!), and because we thought it would be healthier than any of the other fast food choices in this shopping center. But if put in the same situation again, we would choose one of the somewhat less healthy alternatives instead of Zoup.

I eat here a lot and it’s a great place for a quick lunch. For those who think it’s a little overpriced try just getting a half a sandwich or small salad for $ 5 dollars it is very filling and delicious.

I actually really like zoup. As a vegetarian it is super hard to find veg-friendly soup. Zoup always has vegetarian soup and not just one option. They often have 2 – 4 veg options. Sure its not the best soup I’ve ever had, but its really good.

I ordered the Southwest Turkey sandwich and a side of Crab soup. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. If you call a slice of turkey and tomato on a piece of bread a sandwich, this is your place. The over powering taste of salt and smoke ruined what there was of this«sandwich» The soup was ok but the combo was hardly worth the $ 8 price tag. Do yourself a favor and run into Wegmans and grab some food from there. The food is much better and for the same price you can actually get something that resembles and sandwich and some tasty soup.

As an update to the previous review. I emailed corporate and they sent a $ 5 gift certificate. Does that really make up for the fact that we wanted to eat in and couldn’t because there were people from another restaurant eating there? No. I bumped it up because of the effort. I don’t think it was quite enough. I mean, what can you really get at Zoup for $ 5. Not a lot. Especially since it’s usually two of us. They’ve got a long way to go to get me back to the five star level.

I came in for lunch after reading the reviews. I like the concept, especially the idea of tasting the soups before buying(a la the ice cream store model). The selection of soups was diverse, almost guaranteeing there was something for you. Unfortunately, the soups themselves were way too salty. I sampled three, and all were like making out with the ocean. The flavour was decent, but the salt level just ruined it for me. I had the combo with the soup and salad. The salad could have easily come out of a bag. I wanted to like this place, but there was just too much disappointment for that to be the case.

If you are looking for a fresh made soup than this is place to go. The soups vary day to day and location to location. You can sample all the soups before you make your choice. You can go to their website and see the daily menu or have it emailed to you each day. I like this location better than the Allentown one. The seating is better and faster service. Zoups sandwiches are nothing to write home about and would prefer Panera Bread for that. The soups are a little on the pricey side but with the various selections and best ingredients it doesn’t get much better. I do not care for the sandwiches and or salads.
