I come here every Friday after work for dinner! I’ve had almost the entire menu and everything has been delicious! Service is always fast and the servers are friendly. Their ribs are to die for, fall off the bone! Come here and you defiantly won’t be disappointed, I leave with a smile on my face every time!

Called in a simple carry out order. Waited 10 minutes at the bar, minus a bartender. She finally graces me with her presence and tells me my food is at the hostess stand. Mind you, there is nobody at said stand. Whatever, I’m hungry. So, I go to the hostess stand. Picture at this point, tumbleweeds and crickets. Nothing going on here. At last, some beast reluctantly takes her post behind the«hostess» stand to «help» me with my now ICECOLD meal. Apparently, this establishment of fine dining has never seen cash before. While my food is assuming room temperature, this product of «higher» learning displays a sandwich bag of coins and says«I can’t break a $ 20.» Wow. So, I wait. I think she had to go to the bank. Eventually, I made it home with overpriced, ice cold dog food.

Great local bar. Service is fast and friendly. We had cheeseburgers and fries. Portions were huge and burgers were fresh and cooked perfectly to requested temperature.

I’ve been here now numerous time from moving to the area. From playing keno & having beers at the bar to sitting and having dinner or ordering carry out everything has been great. Staff is always great, food is always good. Pretty big menu with much to choose from. Nice spot!

This place was damn good. The food was original and moderately priced. The service was zippy and the server wasn’t mean muggin’ the whole time. I think what got me was the plenty of different kinds of food and drinks. The food all looked so good. And for some reason, I’m not sure why, we went on a Wednesday and EVERYONE there was over 60. It was all old people. That is ok for dinner on a Wednesday night, but if it’s like that on a Friday, I’m out. Great job, Sugarbritches Tavern.

Great place m! Food was good! I had the mini chicken sliders. Food was awesome, parking was great but it was a Sunday. I love the menu looks like it has something for everyone in the menu. Which is fantastic, great ambience and the staff was super friendly

Great food specials every night. Thursday night meatloaf is the best around. Polish dinner on Wednesdays, and turkey dinners on Sunday.

Sugarbush has excellent spareribs with Baby Rae sauce. However, I am a fish eater and I had their Walleye and Perch special on Friday and even though you get a lot, the fish has NOTASTE even though I got it pan fried. Disappointed.

I was curious about what this place would be like. I had heard it’s not necessarily a fancy place(the name kind of sounds fancy, in a way) but also heard it’s not some hole-in-the-wall either. Whatever you want to call it, the food and service are pretty damn good. Went around dinner time on a Sunday and it wasn’t that packed. Sat in a(very comfortable) booth and immediately noticed the draft beer list is lacking — I wasn’t feeling any booze anyway. There was one craft beer on draft(Rebel IPA) so at least there’s that. Anyway, the waitress was really nice. The food that most interested me was actually on the«Sunday Specials» list and I asked the waitress for her recommendation between the chicken club sandwich(on a pretzel bun) or the bleu cheese burger. She said many people rave about the club, so I went with it and… she made the right call. The thing was huge! I’ve eaten my fair share of chicken clubs and this was probably the best I remember. I asked for honey mustard on the side and with the cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato, it was perfect. It came with fries for $ 7.99. Steal of a deal. The pretzel stick appetizer is also pretty good. It reminded me almost exactly of the preztel sticks they serve at Atwater in the Park. The GF always has to order an appetizer… sigh. The waitress, whose name I can’t recall, was pretty on the ball. She refilled my water right as I finished it, and then came back with more napkins right after I asked. My GF then forgot her salad at the booth when we left, and the waitress brought it out to our car! Nice woman. I like this place. Could be good for a quick bite or to have some drinks and watch a game or something. It reminded me of a smaller Renshaw’s(Clawson) with the set up and dim lighting. Good stuff.

The specials especially the friday night Perch and Walleye are above average, just check your carry out before leaving, they are a little stingy with sauces and toppings. The staff is friendly and the mgr Ryan could not be nicer.

I’ve been here quite a few times since it’s close to my house. I usually get something off their specials menu since I can’t find anything on their regular menu that I actually like other than the turkey roll up and a nice greasy patty melt. But I got the perch dinner the other night and it was delicious! They have good French fries and the cole slaw was even tasty and I’m not usually a big fan. I’m sure I’ll continue to try new things and hope to find more items that I like.

The bartender had a very poor attitude and seemed to be to bothered to care about how her cold shoulder and poor attitude affected our visit. Her drinks were poor and her lack of enthusiasm to help us was appalling. I asked for her name simply by asking«What’s your name sweetheart?» And the response I got was«Stacey, definitely not sweetheart.» With eye roll and attitude. I was merely trying to be nice and ask a question. For the record a smile and a kind eye goes far for a bartender. If you’re into poor service and an overly cranky bartender, by all means stop by sugar bush and ask for«Stacey, definitely not sweetheart.»

Visited on Halloween, not the first time food has always been good and beers cold. But on Halloween I ordered a 32 oz beer and they brought it to me in a freakin goblet. I wasn’t dressed as a king or anything so I have no idea why a goblet is the best glass to drink a 32 oz beer from. Seriously I thought I was at the Renaissance festival.

Sugarbush is a pretty cozy restaurant bar that reminds me of a crossbreed between an irish pub and a lakeside bar. there’s plenty of woodwork inside the place to make it feel warm and inviting, and there’s not too many TV’s for the ambience to be overwhelming. Fpr lunch I had a perch basket, and it was very satisfying =) On my basket were 4 pieces of lightly breaded perch that were cooked perfectly and a decent amount of fries. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive, making me feel like a regular =) I like my perch with plenty of lemon, so they brought me extra lemons and I was very pleased that they were freshly cut wedges, not slices. The rest of my entourage had sandwiches, soups, salads, and it all looked very good. I would definitely return to this place if i’m in the area.

I’ve been a fan of Sugarbush Chesterfield for 10 plus years and their new location is just as good. I’ve never had bad food here. Delicious perch, The BEST wings, tender ribs. They have a friendly staff. Better than any chain out there! When we remodeled our Chesterfield kitchen we ordered carry out every night for 3 weeks.

We’ve been to Sugarbush a few times now, and really enjoy it. It’s a small place, but there hasn’t been that long of a wait so far. The only bad thing about the location is that parking is a little odd with most of it in back, and when the front door opens the cold air gets in because there’s only one set of doors. But we don’t come here because of the building, we come because of the food. My wife has had the fish and chips and ribs and liked both. I’ve had the perch dinner, and it’s awesome. The salads are nice with a variety of lettuce and veggies and a big size, but they could give you a bigger dressing with them. The food is tasty, and we had the clam chowder, which for some odd reason isn’t a substitution with a dinner even though it’s the same price as the other soups. Service is always great, and they pay a lot of attention to our little one and make sure our glasses are never empty. Make sure you go online and print out a coupon! I’d recommend them for a nice menu selection that’s bigger than a normal«bar» and for tasty food. Also there are plenty of good-sized TVs to watch the games.

Am I the only one who thought when my friend invited me to a place called«Sugarbush» it was going to be a strip club? I am? Only one? Ooooooooooookay, moving on… So, imagine if you will… that someone took a Ram’s Horn(or some other, non-descript family-style diner/restaurant of your choosing)…and put a full service bar in it. That’s pretty much what the interior looks like. But don’t let that fool you, you should absolutely get here if you’re trolling around the area, especially any time there’s a game involving a team from the state of Michigan playing. Tigers. Lions. College teams. Whatever. If it’s on TV, it counts. And why does that matter? Because that’s when all of your orders of wings get doubled, that’s why. So, you wind up getting 26 wings for $ 10…and these are fairly good sized, decent wings. Both boneless(which, come on… aren’t even«wings»…they’re glorified kids chicken nuggets and we all know it… and we’re all totally judging you for it while you’re eating them) and bone-in wings. And I double dog dare you to try their«Hell» sauce. Seriously. Double. Dog. Dare. I like hot food… Indian? No problem. Thai? Extra hot, please. Szechuan? You betcha. Jalapenos? Brush my teeth with ‘em. I was not prepared for the Hell sauce. Quite literally takes your breath away… and then, just to finish the job, points a blowtorch down your throat and moves your beer across the bar while you struggle to reach it and gasp for air. Now, the best part of this is are the bartenders and waitresses. Because these ladies are not only cute and fun, but they have a lively sense of humor and have absolutely no problem joking along with you no matter what the topic is… or mocking you while there’s enough sweat running off your forehead to fill a birdbath in 2.8 seconds. Once I regained the ability to see, they were there waiting for me with a knowing«I tooooooooooooooold you sooooooooooooooooooooooo» and laughter. Gotta love it. I expected nothing more or less, and they’re just awesome to chat and banter with throughout the night. So if you find yourself down around 10 mile and I-94, I’d definitely recommend popping on in. And if you’re feelin’ froggy, you go on ahead and jump towards some Hell wings. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
