1 To 1 Academic Tutoring

I worked as a tutor for this company. The owner of this is a shady shady person. His name is Rick Negrete.
When I was hired I never met him. He never did a background check or anything. He paid me under the table $ 15 and told me to start the day after I spoke to him on the phone. I had no idea what I was supposed to be tutoring so he gave me a couple websites to print material off of.
For parents, since he doesn’t do background checks or anything, who knows the type of person that is in your house with your children.
His tutors he finds off craigslist don’t last because he does not pay either. I didn’t get my last payment and he said he paid me in full. I emailed him the forms that were filled out with the hours and he still just said I was paid in full and good luck. Very shady.
Also, on the forms, I couldn’t put my name as the tutor because he told me to leave it blank. Very very shady.
Overall, no parent or school should pay this shady owner of a so called «business.» You won’t know the type of person in your home and he doesn’t pay his tutors. This business should be shut down.
