Boulder Belt Eco-Farm

Boulder Belt is amazing. Lucy and Eugene are truly originals, dedicated to sustainable agriculture, and they go WAAY beyond «organic.» They only use «real» and heirloom seeds, which means you have a choice of amazing veggies, berries, melons, and herbs all year long. Hot houses guarantee kale through the winter, and stored root veggies mean that even winter soups are garden fresh.
Over the past many years, I have purchased their produce from the Oxford Farmer’s Market and been a member of their CSA. I believe you can find them at the Eaton Market these days, or you can visit their farm store just north of Eaton. Expensive, you say? Well, unlike McDonald’s and Wal-​Mart, Boulder Belt is not subsidized by the government. This is the cost of healthy, tasty food.

I’ve followed Boulder Belt Eco-​Farm for several years. I live out of state and have ordered from them in the past. The product is exceptional, the service is fantastic.
