We adopted two dogs from the Preble County Humane Association. They were very nice and helpful. I liked the fact that they check with your Vet, before they let you take the animal home.(They want to make sure the dogs go to good homes) Our present dog is heading on to 10 years, and we bought her(Penny) when she was a 8 month old pup. The other dog, my son adopted(Cosmo) when he was 3 months old, and now he is 4 years old. These people take care of the dogs. When something happens to our dog,(hopefully she will live many more years with us) I will go back, there, to get another dog. We looked at several dog pounds, and Preble County’s was the cleanest, and has the nicest staff. I recommend PCHA highly!!!

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Cincinnati, OH
My husband and I drove from Cincinnati to meet(and adopt!) a stray dog we saw on . This appears to be a great place. After a dog warden picked him up, in the three weeks our dog was there, he was microchipped, neutered, given necessary rabies & other vaccinations and dewormed. Plus, he was affectionately cared for. Even our vet was impressed. Very grateful.
