Macy’s Furniture Gallery

Limited on what they carry & have access to. Some nice pieces if you don’t need say a couch & matching chair. They did have some outdoor furniture also.

Ordered a dining table which arrived just days later with one corner crushed. Refused delivery and spoke to customer service while delivery guys were still here. She couldn’t give me a future date as the table needed to be brought back into their warehouse first. She said it would take 48 hours. Days go by, no call. Finally, I call and after being put on hold for 20 minutes, am told next delivery date is in two weeks! Left on hold another 40 minutes and then finally got disconnected. Very unhappy.

The sales people were absolutely terrible! My mom was looking for some furniture and is new to the area. We decided to go here bc we’ve been shopping at macys for as long as I remember. When we arrived, my mom went into the store first as my son had just woken up and needed to be fed. When she walked in, she was not treated nicely and the sales people weren’t very willing to assist her. Once my son finished eating, I walked inside with him. My mom quickly walked out with us. She informed me that as I was walking inside, one of the sales people made a rude comment, «oh I know this one isn’t going to be a good one.» Clearly, you didn’t have the common sense to know that you were making this rude comment in front of my mom. Thankfully, however, it forced my mom to go to a different furniture store, right down the street, to buy a whole house of furniture. You work on commission right… ha, never judge a book by its cover.

I went here to buy bedding. My experience:
Sales:
Overcharged on mattress pads and delivery fees. Fortunately, I saw the mattress pad charge and I asked that he removed it. Unfortunately, I did not see that the delivery fee DOUBLED. Lee Wagner stated that the fee was $ 75. When I checked the receipt, it was $ 135. I went back to the store (I saw this at the parking lot) and I was told he was «at lunch», even though I knew he did not leave the store!
I checked with the sales manager and she confirmed it was $ 135 and the guy was still at «lunch». So sleazy
Delivery:
— One guy did wear plastic wraps over his shoe. The other guy, the one who didnt do any work and sat in his truck, came in the house without removing his shoe or putting on a plastic wrap
Installation:
— The bolts/​screw were loose for the bed… I had to hand tighten it !!! Ridiculous. is this common for delivery men? (same experience at Bambi Baby).
— One of the wood pieces weren’t aligned properly (was slanted a bit). not a big concern, but hey, if i’m paying someone to delivery and assemble, they better do a good job.
Macy’s is just lucky that the selection is there for them to compete. i’m sure soon there will be boutique stores that will compete against the big ones.

It’s an ok Macy’s. The store is kinda dated and old. For what your gonna spend Macy’s should update this store.
