Coffee Quality — It’s caribou. You like it, or you don’t. Me… well, it’s ok
Vibe — It’s caribou. Corporate, standalone. Free Wif0fi. It’s meh
Food — It’s Caribou Frozen and reheated. It’s less than ok.
Staff — Generally good. Usuallly harried

This place is a very nice and quiet environment, it’s a place where you wanna just kick back read a book or do some homework, or just hangout. They have free wifi so that’s always a plus. Some people argue that Starbucks is better but I beg to differ.
I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Eau Claire that doesn’t know any coffee shops besides Starbucks. Also it’s in a nice location right by the mall. I give this joint a ⁴⁄₅ stars.

Was at this Caribou Coffee again this morning– one of many, many times since it opened. I just love this place— is a comfortable atmosphere to visit with friends or do work. This morning, the former. They have comfy plush chairs to sit in, or a nice family type table for groups– a little something for everyone— and the patio is great for the summer.
My favorite beverage is the mint condition mocha, but I’ve never had a bad drink here. The baristas have been mostly great (I’ve only had one bad experience but I’m chalking it up to a bad day) and Alyssa is my favorite— she starts making my drink before I’m even in the door. Now that’s service! An overall great place for a coffee pick-me-up! The only way they could make it better is with a drive-thru.

My fiancé and I stopped at this Caribou early on a Saturday morning. We both ordered hot drinks and hot food. The drinks were ready immediately, as was my oatmeal, but for some reason the oven for the breakfast sandwiches (my fiancé ordered one) wasn’t working properly. They were very apologetic and updated us every five minutes or so and gave us options (such as wait or get a refund). After waiting about 10 extra minutes we had a perfectly heated breakfast sandwich and smiles and thank you’s from both of the ladies that had worked with us. Probably my favorite thing about this Caribou, though, was that the hot water in my tea wasn’t scalding (like it is at every location I’ve been to in the Twin Cities, and I’ve been to a lot)! My fiancé commented the same about the temperature of his coffee, not scalding like usual. If you’re in the area, this Caribou is definitely worth a stop!

Very attractive interior. Comfy chairs, ‘fireplace’, huge table for groups. It just opened so everything is shiny and new. They have good coffee.
