Quality Inn

Good location if you plan to run the Eau Claire Marathon. Very close to the start /​finish.
I found the bed to be comfortable and the room to be clean. The bathroom was also clean. I used the fridge for water, Gatorade, and yogurt — everything stayed cool (just as it should). I did not use the pool, so I can’t speak to that, nor did I use the microwave.
I found it to be quite quiet as well. No noises and I found the hotel staff to be pleasant and friendly.
I would stay here again when I come back.

Room was fine. Cleanish place, fine pool, ok breakfast. Parking lot was so bad in winter. Our TV went power went in and out the whole time. Microwave couldn’t work with TV and mini refrigerator on, it blow the power strip it was on. Internet was super slow. Noise from hallway was crazy loud in room. Over all you get what you pay for.

Clean rooms. Descent morning breakfast. More variety than some «hot breakfast» options I’ve seen. We had a 2 queen room on the 2^nd floor with fridge and microwave. Room had a decent amount of room in it. A/​C was quieter than many motels I’ve stayed at. Fridge was noisy but wasn’t using it so I unplugged it. Small TV — smaller than 32″. Comfortable beds with 2 different firmness of pillows from which to choose.
We had some friends stay in a 1^st floor room and complained of mildew in the A/​C. Woke up with very itchy, watery eyes, but we had no issues. They did get one of the last rooms available, so maybe the motel rents this room out last.
This was an easy access motel from the interstate. Though there are a few eating places nearby, the main retail and restaurant concentration is about 5 miles away to the east, but very easy to travel to. Comfort Inn is on the southwest edge of town in a condo community so it’s very quiet with no highway noise at all. We had a good night’s stay, and I’d stay there again.
We had 3 in the room and paid 94 plus tax which came to 107 total.

Clean, attractively decorated room, typical motel «hot» breakfast, attentive staff. Prices are rising on these places ($ 105 for two queens), putting them on a par with Hampton Inn prices. It’s hard to find a clean place with breakfast for around $ 85 for two. We keep looking.
