Just checked out Campiello for the first time. Very nice food and very nice service. I felt a little under dressed when we went as the atmosphere is very businesslike, but there were also a group of elderly ladies celebrating someone’s birthday. The staff was super attentive to start, but near the end of the meal they kind of forgot about us. This may not sound weird, but they kept walking around our table on the gravel rocks(we were outside), which felt very odd.

This was a phenomenal experience. Our server was great and food was superb. We were from out of town and our server even recommended things to do in the town. Great food and service, pricing was fair as well.

One of best Italian in town. Its tucked in a old strip mall. Service was impeccable. Great wine options. Always has a special. Food was really good and has some veg options. I still don’t understand why this place is always almost empty

My wife and I came here for Restaurant week, 3 course meal for $ 30 each. Fantastic meal and service! I had the Mussels with Thyme and Tomato, the a Pork Porterhouse, and finally the Budino. My wife had a House Salad, Scallops and a lime Gelato. The mussels and budino were fantastic, the Pork Porterhouse was larger than I imagined it would be(especially at the $ 30 price point for the whole meal). The salad and scallops were fantastic as well, the Gelato tasted similar to a Key Lime pie(not my favorite) but the wife enjoyed it. Despite being packed, the service was fantastic, server was friendly and took the time to talk with us. WIll definitely be back for more!

We came here for Restaurant Week last Sunday night. The waitress was very attentive and sat us in the front with a view of the fountain in a private area. We were given special menu selections for Restaurant Week. First dish selection was mussels for me and Campiello house salad for my wife. Dishes were delivered together and quickly. I even got two slices of toasted French baguette which I could turn into a bruschetta with the tomatoes and topped it with some mussels. My wife found the salad to be a bit too much dressing and olives to be very tart. Otherwise, it was a generous portion for both our dishes. Second dish was Pork Porterhouse with Fennel and Mostarda for me and Penne with Spit-Roasted Chicken, Artichoke, Basil, Garlic and Lemon for my wife. Good thing, I asked the waitress how many scallops come with their dish well it went from 5 to 3 for Restaurant Week. However, both our dishes were the same size as regular plate dish. Third dish was Butterscotch Budino with Hazelnut Honey Toffee and Sea Salt for me and Baked Chocolate Mousse Cake with Salted Caramel Gelato and Peanut Croquant for my wife. Wow, we were amazed on the portions which didn’t even feel like Restaurant Week except for the price. I give this as well as my wife a stellar 5 star for service and food quality. Above and beyond all our expectations and staff was very nice to make sure we had enough bread and water on our table.

The milieu of the restaurant is very romantic and old-worldly. It was very well decorated and made you feel right at home. The service was great but the server forgot to put our order in time and gave us the wrong cutlery that we needed. The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and recommended several dishes to find something that suits us. We had the goat cheese bruschetta and it was delicious. My wife had the spit roasted chicken with spinach risotto. The portions was big but the chicken was cooked perfectly and very delicious. I had the ravioli with cheese and peppers and stuffed with sausage. It was a small portion but tasted great. I highly recommend this restaurant and think it is one of the classiest restaurants in the western suburbs.

Everything about Campiello suggests an engaging experience. Décor, wait staff, the open kitchen theme. But this is my 2nd time here and the food is good, not great. Each dish, from soup to dessert, falls in the good category. Nothing is bad either. Not a whole lot else to write about.

Not bad for a chain Italian restaurant. Had the braised short ribs which is apparently one of their specialties. It was very tasty and fall-off– the bone tender, albeit a little salty for my tastes. My companion had the Sicilian ravioli, which was one of that month’s specials, and it fell a little flat, but still reasonably good, definitely a notch above Olive Garden. The ambiance is nice, basically one large open room with a partially open kitchen on one side. Server was friendly. I’d be OK going back if I was in the area.

This is from the same folks that do D’Amicos, so the bar is fairly high in my book. This place did not disappoint. The wine selection, even for happy hour, is pretty solid. The appetizers have been delicious both times I have been here. Though, honestly, I’m a big fan of the complimentary bread. Gimme all the bread! The service is apparently hit or miss. Sit on the patio and get good service. Sit in the bar area and get surly service. Alright then. If you like wine and happy hour and like them even more when they’re combined, hit this place up.

Went for restaurant week. A quaint restaurant that features a different regional menu, as well as a regular menu. I ordered the house salad, tagliatelle with spicy lamb, and butterscotch budino with hazelnut toffee. My waiter was knowledgeable said he had tried everything on the menu. He was very curtious and prompt to refill my water. The house salad was good. I didn’t expect it to have boiled egg on it. The tagliatelle had a great sauce. I like spicy but this was much more mild. It wasn’t even very spicy. The noodles were a harder than expected . If you like butterscotch, I would recommend the butterscotch budino. It was a very strong butterscotch taste.

Nice restaurant and Good food but a bit expensive. I would say a little more than double dollar ! Very few choices for veggie lovers and no soups. The waitress was very friendly !! If you don’t mind the cost then go for it !!

Eden Prairie is not a location well known for it’s awesome food, but this place really is an exception. When here for work, I enjoy this place when I don’t feel up to driving to MSP proper and have had my fill of fast food. :) The wine is tasty, the food is quite good and a nice variety. Last night we each had a glass of wine and a salad(beet salad and pear salad, both excellent and beautiful), followed by a small order of seafood risotto for me and ricotta gnocchi with oxtail for my boyfriend. We didn’t manage to eat much of the main course since we weren’t that hungry, but I did polish them off for lunch today. Yum. Service is always warm and efficient, and they seem actually trained which is awesome.

Amazing Italian restaurant! The calamari were crunchy and tasty, and the accompanying pesto sauce was the perfect match. The Sicilian meatballs were also perfect, and could feed more than 6(one each). Tagliatelle with bolognese sauce are a favorite of mine! The chocolate cake mousse was a perfect salty /sweet combination. Great service too!

Went out with our work team as a group of 12 after a day of meetings and we were looking forward to some unwind time. Started off with rounds of toasts to some fantastic Malbecs and Syrahs which were smooth on the palette. Once we ordered the delectable names on the very to the point menu we were just having a good time in the ambiance of the restaurant. What blew most of us away was the service delivery of the food once it arrived. As a group of 12 it would typically take at MOST restaurants a few trips by the two waitresses who were serving our table. We were suddenly approached by probably half of the staff at our table with our respective dishes in a matter of seconds. The food was epic! Had the Braised Rabbit with baked Brussels Sprouts which was phenomenal! Right amount of flavor and seasonings there and everyone else was ranting and raving about the Braised Short Ribs. Servers kept out wine glasses topped off and we just had a good flow and a heck of time! Top notch service with great food!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile. After a long day of showing houses, I stopped in for dinner. The ambiance is soft and romantic. Perfect for a date. For dinner I ordered the rabbit. It was good, but nothing to rave about. My date had the gnocchi. I LOVE gnocchi, but this gnocchi was dry and chewy. Perhaps we came on an off night? Campiello is worth a try if you like Italian, but for the price, I’ve had better.

My office recently ordered Campiello for lunch; it was a huge hit for all of us in the office. Campiello is owned by the D’Amico family of restaurants, and the D’Amico brand is one I trust. They seem to have a knack for high-end, quality flavors in their dishes. The spit-roasted pork sandwich is one of the 10 best sandwiches I’ve ever consumed in all my 31 + years on Planet Earth. The pork is paired with grilled red onions and mozzarella cheese, then served on a perfectly-toasted and flavored ciabatta bun(at least, I think that’s what the bun was). This was the kind of sandwich I had to force myself to slow down my eating, so that I could truly savor it. The house-made potato chips were a great success, too. Melt in your mouth chips. Such a unique potato chip; you can tell it’s their own recipe, not something generic or bland. A colleague let me try her balsamic-glazed short rib. While she loved the dish, I thought it didn’t hold a candle to Redstone’s version of the dish. The meat was tender, but there was more fat and less meat on the ribs, as compared to Redstone’s. Additionally, I think the balsamic flavor steals away from the flavor of the meat. Just my opinion, though — others loved the dish. For a man like me, Campiello is a tad on the pricey side, with lunch sandwiches starting at $ 13, pizzas at $ 14-$ 15, desserts starting at $ 9.50, and entrees ranging from $ 14-$ 18.

Been coming here for over 10 years, can’t recall a negative experience worse than one time getting a rum and Coke when I asked for Jack and Coke. Their balsamic-glazed short ribs easily make my «Top 5 Fav Dishes EVER», the fried calamari is delicious and the desserts are good enough to induce a little shame. Maybe a high $$ or low $$$ depending what you order/alcohol consumption. Top-notch service and ambiance every time, great spot for a quiet birthday dinner or an intimate date ;)

This place has almost every ingredient for a phenomenal happy hour… Great drink specials, phenomenal appetizer deals and attentive staff, but the crowd who arrives is just a pretty quiet and minimal crew. For a relatively quiet happy hour, this works well, but if you want more vibe, it just won’t be here. A great positive for this place is the Easter brunch– which is served family style with a little bit of something for everyone. We’ve done Easter brunch for the past few years and have never been anything but delighted. Highly recommend!
