Wow, what’s up with the service? We were seated immediately but it took 15 mins for someone to bring us menus and take drink orders. During that time the male server in are area looked at us many times(with a scowl on his face), but did not acknowledge our presence. When a female server finally came over to us he yelled, «oh are you going to get that?» Fifteen minutes later we were brought our drinks and had our food order taken. It then took 30mins to get our food. So it took us an hour from when we walked in to get food brought to us. I’d have understood if it was crazy busy, but the place was less than ¼ full. I felt like the employees were annoyed we showed up and did their best to ignore as a result. A simple«I’m sorry about the wait» or «someone will be right with you» would’ve gone a long way.

Service was kinda slow and food wasn’t like it used to be. Really cute place inside though! We got a pepperoni pizza, not sure how you can make that wrong but they did. Pizza crust you could tell was premade, Sauce was too sweet, but then tasted like they drizzled buffalo sauce it some parts(weird I know). Side salad was good! Would we go back? No.

Nice hangout place for an evening. This is good for the Happy hours and the cheese curds are too good to miss.

Old Chicago is always a great place to grab some food or a couple drinks. It was pretty empty when I went on a weekday, so I was surprised at how slow the service was. Despite that, the staff were friendly and the food was delicious. They have a huge beer selection, which is a huge bonus to any restaurant.

This place is fast becoming my new favorite place to eat with my wife and children on a Saturday afternoon. It’s worth returning not because of the service, but because of the food. I had the Cajun Chicken Sandwich with Jerk Seasoned Fries and a nice cool lemonade to wash it all down. The portions were more than I had expected and quite satisfying. One could tell this restaurant chain wasn’t trying to skimp on product portion which made me feel valued allowing me my moneys worth. It isn’t expensive but not too inexpensive either. My family and I ended up spending around $ 75 for the 4 of us. My wife and kids had the individual pizzas which were also good… well except for the Hawaiian Pizza which was too sweet. My wife described it as having had too much canned juice poured on top. Put still overall we were happy. The one criticism I have is on service. It was a slow day so not many clients. I could hear the greet staff talking as we arrived. They were«bored» and we’re just hanging around talking. We were barely acknowledged upon arrival, and ignored when we left. The server who waited on us was the exception to otherwise poor customer service. His name was Brian and he was attentive, polite, friendly and as a result received a big tip. The other staff could learn a lesson from him.

One of the best pizza in town… Has some good options for appetizers as well. Ok cocktail and drink options. Great service. You can stop by for Sunday games and Friday and Saturday dinner

Very good food for the price! Bartenders are welcoming rather than treating you like you don’t matter. Go to old Chicago instead of the slightly cheaper options

Pep rolls are always good, but the service at this location was awful. Our server was nice, but the kitchen and bartenders were slow and it wasn’t packed at all. We waited almost 25 minutes for our pep rolls, and getting refills on beers took way too long.

Old Chicago is one of our favorite places to eat. Our experience has always been great. Our most recent visit was no exception. We ordered the Bacon/Chicken Alfredo deep dish pizza. While not a true Chicago style deep dish, it was tasty and properly prepared. Our server, although a «trainee» was attentive and prompt. She brought me a «taster» sample of a beer I have not tried without being asked. Overall, another enjoyable experience at OC.

I’ve always had a love hate relationship with Old Chicago. The food is a notch above Applebee’s and TGI Friday’s, it is nothing to write home about but I’ve always enjoyed it somewhat after a couple beers. Where they really shined was their beer selection and the World Beer Tour, they used to have me coming back for the variety of beer alone. Now I’ll explain why they deserve a one start rating. I was there recently and received the worst service of my entire life. I’m always kind and respectful to the waitstaff and can put up with a lot of mistakes but this evening sent me over the edge. I recently went here for dinner with my father, we had both had long days and wanted something easy. The restaurant was about half full but we waited 15 minutes while the lone hostess was taking to-go orders, which by itself wasn’t a big problem because I’m forgivable when it comes to understaffing. Once we were seated we waited another 15 to 20 minutes for the waitress, who all the time had been serving other tables around us without ever coming over to introduce herself. At this time we already had our drink orders, appetizer, and entrees picked out. After she brought us our beers she literally ignored our table the rest of the evening. The appetizer was brought out by another waiter while I watched our waitress talking and laughing with her coworkers. After we were done with the appetizer we hoped to order another round of beers but our waitress was nowhere to be found. Finally our food comes over, brought over again by another waiter. My father had ordered a well done burger and it was cooked at the very most medium rare. This wouldn’t have been such a big problem but the waitress didn’t stop by to check for another 15 to 20 minutes, and at that point we had both lost our appetites. After my father politely declined a replacement burger the manager finally came over. We explained to him everything that had happened that evening. He then said he would remove the burger from the bill, but instead of comping my meal or the entire bill he leaves us with a coupon for a free pizza and the remainder of the bill. I will under no circumstances be coming back to this location, they have lost a long time customer, and I suggest you avoid it at all costs.

This place was amazing from the second we walked in. The service fast and super friendly and proficient. We ordered the Buffalo chicken rolls as an appetizer, these things were freaking amazing. Next time I’m ordering these as my meal and not sharing. Pizza was delicious and a very large menu selection. Plus tons. of beer on tap, and great happy hour and game day drink specials. We’ve been in the area for 4 days and we finally had a great family meal in a fantastic atmosphere. LOVEDIT.

Awesome pizza, macaroni & cheese, and a Blue Moon/pear cider draft mix called Perfect Moon. Thick crust pizza is seriously thick!

I have been here many times but today has been the worst, not the food but our waiter. He seams to pissed off at the world and not really care about use. I usually have better with the waitress.

Of all the corporate-y chain restaurants you can go to, Old Chicago feels the least corporate-y and actually serves a good product. I’ve been part of their World Beer Tour for years which has allowed me to try tons of beers that I otherwise would have avoided but are actually quite delicious. Though their pizzas aren’t exactly Chicago deep dish style, they are still some of the better deep dish pizzas in town. Plus, if you are part of their WBT, you get a free pizza every year during your birthday month! Mini beer tours are offered quite frequently throughout the year and always come with a fun t-shirt. If you’re low on cash but still want to complete your mini tour, go to their happy hour. $ 3 pints, $ 2 mini pizzas and $ 5 appetizers mean you can fill up without breaking the bank.

Great place good beers and good pizza! Also I your over 21, you can join their World Beer Tour for prizes and good deals! :). Over 110 beers here at any time from all over the world!!! We had the Baja Chicken pizza, minus the chicken(Vegetarian here) and it was AMAZING!!! Highly recommend if you come here! We also had the Artichoke dip, which is always great! I would ask for more veggies though and less bread! There will definitely be more visits here! :):):)

For a chain restaurant, this has to be one of my favorites! Great food, excellent rotating beer selection(World Beer Tour is a great way to try new beers!), and delicious happy hour deals! Let’s break this down: 1. The food is solid. I’ve had one salad on the menu that I didn’t particularly care for, but everything else has been excellent! Their deep dish pizzas are some of my favorites, thick and greasy but not overly so, and they have a ton of toppings from which to choose! If you’re a garlic lover like me, order garlic as a pizza topping and you can’t go wrong as they add tons of slices of garlic cloves, not just a few little minced pieces. Their paninis, burgers, and apps are all good options as well. 2. Beer! World Beer Tour is what’s kept me coming back(almost) weekly for about 2 years now. It’s basically a way to keep track of all the beers you have tried there, and the goal is to drink all 110. You get fun prizes for hitting beer milestones — t shirts(probably half my wardrobe now…), mugs, a mini cooler, etc. And it’s really broadened my beer horizon and helped me discover new types of beer! 3. My favorite happy hour! Great discounts on their apps($ 3, $ 4, $ 5 and $ 6 options) and I highly recommend their mini pub pizzas for $ 4– so addicting! Beers are also discounted, but I believe the drink discounts depend on the day. Either way, it’s a delicious cheap way to enjoy a pizza and beer dinner!

We stopped here before bowling because the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. The food we had was what you’d expect from this sort of restaurant. I’d not eaten at an Old Chicago in nearly a decade because I just don’t eat at places like this much of the time. Everyone enjoyed their food and the wine was good. We’ll come again if we must.

I love the fact that old Chicago has so many drink options. They even have framboise! Its a purple beer from Belgium. Great for non beer drinkers like myself. My husband found the tap selection to be impressive too. I would recommend coming here during happy hour for a better deal. I would recommend checking your local old Chicago website for the HH menu. It may vary by location. Now let’s talk about their pizza since that is their main speciality. I’m a huge fan of their BBQ chicken pizza. It’s tangy and loaded with the right ingredients! If you’re a bread person like me, try it deep dish style! Their wings and their Italian nachos are also incredible. Come to think of it, there’s nothing I’ve tried that I didn’t like. Service is great too. The EP staff is quite friendly and very informational if you need help with selection. I’ve only at the patio and bar just so you guys know. I’ve never had to wait long for seating. The location is connected to an apartment building right across from Walmart. Because of that, parking can be a pain sometimes. I’m already craving pizza just typing this!

My buddy and I went for happy hour during the pick your own beer Mini Tour. I got some Stone Arrogant Bastard and a Surly Furious. AMAZING beers. The best thing is that on Saturday and Sunday their happy hour is 12 – 6. It is the only OC I have found that does this, but they have garnered thousands of dollars from me by offering it. For the happy hour you get a 25 ounce beer for the price of a pint. Oh yeah! I got my usual happy hour single topping mini pizza for $ 4. Their pizza is soooo good. I watched a special on them and they use corn meal in their crust which gives it it’s unique awesome flavor. The crispiness of the crust is just perfect and the sauce is splendid as well. We had lots of laughs and just a wonderful time. Our waiter was so good we told the manager that he was our best one ever, and that is huge. I have been here over 300 times, and he took the time to talk to us about beer, gave us a sample of beer, and was just an amazing server. Of course they have all the TVs on sports, which is awesome as well. I have 6 world beer tours here, and I am never disappointed.
