The Floor Center

Great hardwood and engineered flooring section. Went to 4 flooring stores and Floor Center had the best selection. Although we ended up buying unfinished hardwood through out contractor they gave us good direction on what we wanted. Only downfall was our rep was high pressure and kept telling us how engineered flooring is what we needed to buy

The motto «our service will floor you.» They should add «with disappointment.» We custom ordered carpet for our hallway from Floor Center. Upon completion of the order we were asked to put half down. No problem, pretty standard procedure. When the carpet came in, the store called and asked us for the remaining balance to be paid in full prior to the installation. I said I’ll pay when the installation is complete and I’m satisfied; just like every other service or contractor I’ve worked with. Half now, remaining upon completion.
Not this place. I was told half now or we can cancel the order. Really? So I said cancel the order. The employee hung up on me. Minutes later he called back and asked for my credit card number to refund the purchase. I ask him if he was really going to let this happen. He explained it’s how they do business. I said let me give you my card, complete the install, and I’ll call and OK the charges. He agreed to this request. This could have been avoided if he would have made that suggestion. Pretty pathetic that I had to plead with this gentleman to complete the sale.

FABULOUS experience!!! What a great store, and sure beats working with the big box stores, from a service and a price standpoint too. I worked with Brent who was incredibly helpful and really went the extra mile to make sure I got the right carpeting for my family room. I will use them again in a heartbeat and will strongly recommend them to anyone! In this day and age, it’s hard to find a merchant that comes close to meeting your expectations. But it’s exceedingly rare to find one that totally exceeds them. What a nice surprise! It restores my faith in people and business.
Thank you Brent, I know I was probably a pain to work with, but my family room is beautiful now. :)
