The Garage Door Guy

Called in a panic after the garage door busted and held my car captive. I drive for a living. Called at 745am and someone answered!!! John was out to our home within 3 hours and the garage was fixed by noon! Very reasonable prices. Garage is in better condition, super quite!

When I arrived home last night I drove into the garage as usual and the automatic garage door broke and would not open or close. A cable was broken and it didn’t appear that I could fix it myself. I left a message for the company that I had installed the door and has done work for me in the past. (Thousands of dollars worth of work!) Also left them a message on their website. I did get a call early today however saying they could not get to me for two more days. Just too busy! Too busy for a past client? Wow! What was I to do since my car was now captive and I had to get out to go to work.
I looked up on Unilocal and saw the listing for The Garage Door Guy’s. Clever name! I called just before 9:00 AM. the kind lady explained what they would do and how much it would cost and they could be out within the next two hours. A little different from the other company. I agreed. 1.5 hours later the technician called to say he would be at my home in 15 minutes. I was relieved!
The service tech came and repaired the cables. He recommended I replace the worn rollers with a better type. No hard sell, just a recommendation. I agreed. The service tech was very friendly knowledgeable and efficient. He had been doing this for twenty years. I made a point to have him tell his owner I found him on Unilocal.He serviced the door so that it is now working like new. I was out of the house by 11:30 AM.
I am a happy customer! Price was reasonable. The service tech was great! I am a happy person and happy to write them a good review.
