Hampton Inn Eden

Sometimes work brings me to some off-​the-​beaten-​path locations. This weekend is just one of those occasions. So, here is a review of the Hampton Inn in Eden NC.
The lobby is clean and inviting with a few large-​screen TVs to congregate around. There is fresh coffee nearly 24 hours. The rooms are also clean. The lighting is awful (I think it’s just those ultra-​efficient bulbs that emit a lot of blueish light). Other than the lighting, the room is A-​OK with a good TV and decent working space at the desk.
There are lots of fast food options around that I just can’t frequent. But there is also a sit-​down place across the parking lot. That’s kind of it as far as food.
Parking is plentiful and there is a pretty good outdoor pool out back if you are into it. I would recommend staying away from any other hotel on S Van Buren. This Hampton Inn is by far the best option. I want to give it another half star for the pretty decent free breakfast offered.

I’m a loyal Hilton customer. When our reunion committee chose the Hampton Inn as our host hotel, I knew we were in good hands. But the warm and helpful staff of this hotel took service to another level. They offered directions with a smile, accommodated special needs and requests, checked on us to make sure everything was running smoothly. They made us feel at home. Thank you, Hampton Inn Eden, for making this reunion one of our best. Anytime we’re in Eden, we know we have a friend.

Excellent customer service at all times of the day, even late late at night. Very very clean rooms that were very comforting after a long drive. My boys enjoyed it!!!’ Great FREE breakfast!!! Not a basic continental one either !!!
