Who knew there was a beer garden in the back! We walked in earlier today and thought it odd a store specialized in beer, wine, lotion and soap! The nice staff at the visitor’s center suggested we stop in for a drink, so we did. I had a shandy and a kolsch, my wife a Riesling. Met a few nice couples (other tourists) as well as one new-​ish local who had just moved here a year or so back.
Our experience was made even better when I went to close my tab and found out a gentleman we’d been chatting with – a local man of the cloth, had picked up the bill – Thanks Reverend!
BTW, on Friday night they have «vinyl night» and play records – we may go back!
Went back for Vinyl Night. A lot of fun. Nice crowd!
