Cut Loose

I’ve been going to Cut Loose since I moved to the area– tried a few places around but did not have the best luck. As soon as I sat in Michele’s chair, I felt comfortable :) She does a great cut– listens when you say «i’m trying to grow it out so PLEASE just a trim» and is also great at finding a new style when you want to experiment. I called her up the other day because i want to get an ombré dye job. I’ve done it myself successfully but didn’t want to put in the work. While she wasn’t able/​ready yet, she is gonna call me as soon as she has had a class on it so we can get it done :) Very happy!
Only complaint I have is the atmosphere– while the décor is fun and clean, the layout is a bit awkward… I wish they would move the couches to the front of the room…

Needed to find a new stylist, and that can be a big bummer to search until you find the right «fit». I felt very welcome the minute I walked in, and was happy with the unpretentious but comfortable atmosphere. I did not have reservations, but they were able to accommodate me immediately. That’s not to say they weren’t busy, they just had someone who could take care of me right away. A BIG plus.
«Coffee, water, a Mimosa?» Yes they have the liquor license that carried over from the previous business. I know it was 5:00 p.m.somewhere but it wasn’t even 11:00 A.M. and I had lots of errands to do. Maybe next time .
All the stylists that I saw were smartly dressed and had attractive cuts and color. How many times have we walked in somewhere and saw the staff with hair clippies and dark roots? A baaaaad sign when the folks at the salon don’t even care about their appearance. Afterall, they are a walking billboard for their business.
Anyway, my stylist, Lindsay was very personable and made me feel like an old friend. I was very pleased with my cut and appreciated the care and time she took with what was relatively just «a good trim».
Will I be back? Absolutely. Next time highlights AND a mimosa.

Had my hair cut and super highlighted last week, Londa did a great job.
Also had my brows done, can’t remember her name but very precise.
Prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is very warm, with the light wood floors and the tv over the mantle in the greeting area. Nice big comfy couches. Everyone seems very very friendly, Hope they do well!
