Oh. My. Gosh! So good! I had the Truffle Scramble and it was slightly sweet and definitely savory. The asparagus was perfectly cooked with no fibrous pieces. The cheese was perfectly melty. The truffles added a light tasty flavor. This amount of food normally would have been to much for me, but between the lightness of the dish and the wonderful flavor it went down easy and I could easily eat more. Wish I had more. Next time… Mental note: must come early!

Great service every time. A cute little breakfast place overlooking sloans lake. Their hash is amazing and their jalepeno bacon is also out of this world!

Well… Not to much to say about today’s visit. We have been here before after church on Sunday and it was pretty good food wise. Today I came in by myself for breakfast– after being seated I waited approx. 10 minutes before my server showed up for my order(it was not super busy in the restaurant) I ordered a classic eggs Benedict and coffee — although my food did show up quickly there was nothing exciting to it. Potatoes were two little rounds of tasteless mush. And the eggs Benedict was lifeless without much taste– a little seasoning would have been good. Just ok

The best place for brunch during weekend and nice overlooks Sloan Lake. Food is really great with a nice variety. Service can be hit or miss which unfortunately affects their rating. The owners are aware of this and are working to improve consistency in service.

Hearty breakfasts. Some of the more unusual dishes, such as Swedish benedicts were lacking(salmon was too dry and dill in hollandaise not noticeable). Service is always friendly and prompt.

I’m sad to say this but this is my first«bad» review in Denver which is a shocker! I got a breakfast burrito(roasted pork) and I enjoyed absolutely nothing on it. I was starving but could only bear half of it. My friend did not enjoy his burrito either. Not sure what happened there. Pretty disappointed.

Just got back from a late breakfast/lunch at Rupert’s and have to say I really liked the place. We had quite a wait to get seated, but that is understandable at such a popular place. And I can see why it is so popular. Great food, I had the chili bowl and it was just what I was hungry for. Not overwhelming hot, but flavorful. The sunny side up egg was perfect. My husband had the truffle scramble. He enjoyed it and from the taste I had I think that is on my list to have there some day. Even though it took a bit to get seated, the servers were right there ready to help, got us coffee, cream, water and such quickly. Took our order and seemed be at our table so quickly I wondered if they had over heard us talking about what we wanted before we got sat down! I was not impressed by the coffee, it was not horrible, just not as good as I was hoping for after waiting for such a long time. Next time I know to bring my own and enjoy while I am waiting and get another drink. I did really enjoy the orange juice. I am not much a juice drinker but it sounded good and it was. I am sure the mimosas are great too, just did not feel like starting drinking yet today.

My family visited Rupert’s on Christmas Eve for a mid-morning breakfast. The place was packed! The service, however, did not suffer. Our waitress was kind, attentive, cheery, and helpful! The food was, for the most part, great. For the most part. I had the veggie benedict, though I subbed in the green chili hollandaise. Since I love heat, this proved to be an excellent choice! My husband had the sweet potato, corn, and black bean hash. He also thoroughly enjoyed his dish. Unfortunately, that’s where the good news ends. My daughter ordered the truffle scramble, and though she was really looking for it, she was extremely disappointed. There was SO much truffle oil on her eggs that she could hardly eat. In fact, it not only ruined her meal, but the smell was so overwhelming, that it impacted all of us. I had to move away from her plate. It was too bad. Correctly executed, I’m sure the dish would have been amazing. Too much of a good thing, even truffle, can be really bad. Bummer! Other than the truffle oil incident, Rupert’s proved to be a good little spot. I’m sure we’ll give it a second try, and hopefully we can give it four stars next time!

I only have good things to say about this place. 1. Excellent service: our server, Ashley, was incredible. She was friendly and answered all of our questions. 2. Amazing food: I had the deluxe chili bowl with a side of jalapeño bacon. It was amazing, especially the potato cakes. 3. Really good coffee. I’m impressed. 4. We arrived at 9 am on a Thursday(New Year’s Eve) and there was no wait. I would love be to come in the summer and sit outside. I will definitely be coming back!

A neat diner that overlooks Sloan’s Lake(kinda), Rupert’s is the perfect place to go for a casual, cheap meal. My friend and I both had the breakfast burrito, which is filling and tasty, with pretty killer(and quite spicy) green chile. I also tried out the weekday mimosa, which was way too strong for me — it was probably five parts champagne to one part orange juice. But if you’re super into alcohol you’ll probably love it and their bottomless mimosas on weekends and Monday. Loved how many options they have — I wanted to try like ten of them. Since breakfast burritos are my go-to new brunch place testers, I will definitely have to return and try the sweeter options, like the carrot cake pancakes and the stuffed French toast.

This has become our weekend go-to spot if we’re up early enough to sneak in without a wait or if I’ve had the sort of week that demands a Saturday morning mimosa celebration. The food is definitely better than typical diner food, service is always friendly and they do $ 9 bottomless mimosas. When it’s nice out, it’s lovely to enjoy the lovely view of the lake. When it’s gross out, it’s lovely to sit and stare at the snow while you stuff your face with comfort food and cocktails and delight in how warm and comfy you are compared to the freezing hell that’s happening outside. We’re slowly working our way through trying the whole menu and everything so far has ranged from good to awesome. If you’re a little hungover and super starving the breakfast BLT has magic hangover dissolving powers, I swear. The dude has only good things to say about the gouda grits which are a weekend special and if you’re a savory grits person, go for it before they run out. If you want the super-cool kid dining experience go ahead over to Snooze and wait 2 hours for weekend brunch, but if you want good food and all the mimosas your little booze loving heart could desire then just go to Rupert’s and find something cool to do with the time you just saved yourself.

Dining with a view is my first thought. Especially if you sit next to the window. Or better yet during summer enjoy Ruperts by sitting outside and enjoying the view of Sloan Lake. Ruperts is on the edge of Sloan Lake hence the edge reference. We came here for brunch. I enjoyed their Chocolate Cheesecake French toast. It is basically thick toasts stuffed with those two ingredients. I am required to say this: it’s dangerously delicious! The service is super warm and genuine. I love it! Oh Ruperts believe that A brunch without a mimosa is just a sad breakfast. How awesome is that? Salud! You don’t believe me? It’s written in big letters on their wall:)

Service was great, bacon amazing, great location. Bowl was riddled with too many onions for my liking. The biscuits & gravy were pretty good but not fabulous.

Unique and incredibly tasty breakfast grub. I ordered home made hash(veggie) and poached eggs with carrot pancakes. She(my wife) ordered, the«Sloan’s breakfast» with 2 eggs, sausage, and chocolate hazelnut stuffed french toast(!!!). She was skeptical about my carrot pancakes(secretly I knew she’d love them, that is why I ordered them) but as soon as they were on the table and before I could unwrap my silverware, she had both tasted and commandeered them. That was it, she was in love and is already talking about coming back. Everything we had was awesome. Fast and friendly service with solid views of the lake. Good espresso too.

I’m always on the lookout for my next five star experience, and it was delivered to me in bluebird fashion on a random stop in at Rupert’s! For those who don’t know my rating qualification schema, a five star review means that if someone were to suggest the place for whatever that place does, I’d say yes without hesitation. Rupert’s falls easily into this category after only one visit. I tried this warm turkey sandwich thing that was SO good I would recommend it to a turkey. A cannibal zombie turkey that eats it’s kin! My gal had a veggie omelet that totally hit the mark. All of that was a solid 4.5 on the scale. The icing on the cake is very affordable bottomless mimosas, and a very tasty, well made bloody! Nice! Add all that to a lakefront location(well, for all intents and purposes — there is Sheridan in between) and a terrific staff, definitely worth a try!

Vacationing here from Miami and was looking to have a nice breakfast with the husband. This place did not disappoint. We both ordered the Sloans breakfast which brings a little of everything. Everything on my plate was cooked to perfection. The service was awesome and the place is situated across from a very pretty lake. Great experience would definitely return on my next trip.

Food was excellent but even better was the view of the lake as we sat outside to have breakfast. Our server, Hannah was great & provided the friendly service you’d expect at a place like this. I’ll certainly be back sooner than later.

We drove the 25 minutes to Rupert’s this morning to give it a try based on the reviews. It’s a cute diner, clean looking. Our waitress, Shannon, was welcoming and stayed on top of things. The $ 8.50 bottomless mimosas are awesome and they don’t do the«give you one then come back in 15 minutes to refill you» thing. If you keep drinking them, they WILL keep filling them! I had the Lobster Benedict, which was pretty good. My husband had the Breakfast Burrito. It had pulled pork and green chili they said was house-made. He said it was really good. Definitely give this place a try, it’s a great brunch spot.

My fiancée and I came in to Colorado for a wedding, and needed to grab some breakfast/brunch. We found Rupert’s and thought we’d give it a try. They have a front patio seating area that looks out onto a nearby lake, the lake being literally across the street. The patio also allows customers to enjoy the crisp Colorado air while eating their breakfast. We step inside and are greeted by a friendly face that seats us immediately. Our server comes by soon after we are seated to take our drink order, then our food order a little after that. Our burgers come out in about ten or 15 after ordering, which was pretty quick in my opinion considering they had a full house. Our burgers were absolutely divine. Both of us ordered the hangover burger, angus beef, bacon, and an egg with a choice of Parmesan fries, or yam fries for an extra dollar. The bacon was crisp, the burger was juicy, and the egg was a little runny, the way we love it! We will definitely be coming back to Rupert’s any time we are in the Denver area!

Rupert’s is probably one of the best breakfast spots I’ve been to in a long time. They have everything you could want and the view just can’t be beat. There was no wait when we came here on a Sunday morning, which is a rarity for any breakfast place. The menu is pretty extensive — sweet stuff, healthy stuff, gravy or chile covered stuff, alcoholic stuff. It also seemed like they had a decent selection of mimosas and other day drinking selections. I had the peach stuffed french toast, which was a special for the day. Very tasty stuff, but I’m guessing it’s gone now. The gouda grits were also awesome. I’m told that grits are not supposed to have cheese in them, but I’m not from the south and they were good and I will order them again and again because I will be back!

Cashed in on a friends suggestion to pay Ruperts a visit for breakfast. There were 6 of us who sat out on the patio for breakfast, we were quickly seated with no wait(8am). I had the chicken fried steak, came with 2 biscuits on top and smothered in gravy, 2 eggs & potato pancakes. The biscuits were very dense, needed extra gravy for those two bad boys, very good. My wife had gluten free pancakes that also came with eggs, she absolutely loved it. Others at the table had corned beef hash and a breakfast sandwich with Texas toast, I forget the name but snapped a pic. There would be no leftovers this morning. Great food, ambience, service & view! By 8:45a it started to get crowded & by time we left, 9:30ish, it was packed.

I have been to Rupert’s a few times but evidently had my first Unilocal check in yesterday. Great food– I am usually partial to omelet/egg choices but have heard good things about their more Carb-based breakfasts too.(Banana bread Fench Toast does sound amazing!) Fast friendly service. Clean stylish interior. This place is usually busy on the weekends with a wait for the patio seating — but then after a few trips over across Sloan’s Lake when I can’t be bothered with cooking– I see why. On par with other Denver Breakfast institutions such as Snooze and Jelly but much much more convienient for us West Siders.
