Had my hair cut by ROSY GOMEZ today. I told her I wanted a two in trim and to clean up my long layers. She ended up cutting a very thick choppy layer that was as short as my chin!
I usually get haircuts in NYC that are about $ 100+, but decided a trim in between actual hair appointment couldn’t go wrong… WRONG! Two other women had to come over to help when she realized she messed up.
Beware, this is where good hair goes to die.

they asked $ 43 for my 7 yrs old daughter hair, just for shampoo and flat iron!!!
BE AWARE!!! They have no idea what they are talking about.
i left the store, went to ULTA they did shampoo + hair cut + blow dry with much more experienced service and paid only $ 22.

I used to come to this place ever month for about a year, not anymore. Last time I was here I decided never to go back.
price is very good but the way they cut my hair just wasn’t doing it. I asked her to use only scissors and she agreed to it, but ad the end she ended up cutting my hair with a machine. I would rather pay more and get a better hair cut.

Booked an appointment twice, waited 40min and was told theres a line ahead of me! The staff reply was «well were busy and dont know what to tell» in other words a polite «go screw yourself»… Wasted so mich time!

I used to go to Fort Lee location, but they usually have long lines, so attracted by good reviews I switched to Edgewater location. However, I’ve never seen the same stylist twice, so it’s always a gamble. Moreover, more often than not, the stylists cannot understand what I want even with the pictures due to my or their English (it’s just a bob). The last time I went I left with bald spots on the back of my head, which of course I could not see, and became a laughing stock at work and home. I will not come back.

I live in Edgewater and decided to try Supercuts. Carlina is the best hairdresser I have been to who knows not only how to cut hair, yet does a superb job with color and highlights. I did not know the color and highlights were offered and they are! I continue to have the best experience with her and I am a very fussy person when it comes to my hair. Stop in and see Carlina, she does everything right and a wonderful person also.

Had my roots done here, thinking it would be convenient, fast and less expensive than my salon. It is convenient, but at nearly 2 hours and $ 55, it wasn’t any faster and cost more than my salon charges ($ 40). They didn’t do it any better so I don’t see the point in spending more in the future. The service was pretty good.

I feel like this place should be way more popular! I usually have terrible experiences going to other chains, but this Supercuts has great stylists at awesome prices. Today they were swamped but the girl taking care of me took her time and didn’t half ass her job. She went out of her way to great clients as they walked in and would excuse herself when the phone rang — she did a hell of a job being by herself.
Great place — definitely worth it and the place to get a trim.
