Located right next door to Mitsuwa, this place has some cool tableware items. Came last Sunday to check out sake cups and to my surprise, the store was marking 20 percent off on most items. Score! Pick up my first sake cup set for 13 bucks! Dope spot to check out. They even have a giant plate in the back selling for 7500(50% off).

Small store specialized with Japanese tableware & dinnerware. Price is reasonable, staffs are friendly. Have various pretty tableware, quality is good. I purchased discounted dinnerware(Small rice bowls $ 2, sauce bowls $ 1. etc) several times, no problem in dishwasher. Compare with other huge kitchen product brands, quality is good and price is reasonable.

I just purchased a Matcha tea set for $ 10 bucks! It comes with tea wisk, tea bowl and a special tea spoon made from bamboo. We also purchased a tea set. The quality is very good, and the lady was so helpful when we tried to ask for techniqe to prepare matcha.

Awesome store for tableware items. Great prices and super friendly customer service. The lady was so kind at the store and asked us if we needed help with anything. Sales everywhere you look. Perfect place to get a few fancy chopsticks, spoons, plates, bowls, etc. Also a great place to visit if you’re looking for a gift. Plenty of cute decorated plates, cups and bowls.

Variety Of Unique Items Well Organized Discount Pricing The Japanese version of Bed Bath & Beyond, Utsuwa-No-Yakata is a great place to browse before your shopping trip to Mitsuwa. The Store is packed with a variety of household items offered at wholesale prices. They have a points system that allows you to build up store credit for dollars spent, sign up is quick and easy. I spend most of my time in the first isle checking out the tableware, they have some really nice deals and the inventory changes often so it’s always worth a look. Your purchase of fragile items will be packaged well enough to withstand a ten foot drop. Check it out

I visited here in October, and bought a cute ceramic mug and a kyusu teapot. There was so much more stuff that I wanted to buy there, but held back. I can’t wait til I go back up to Mitsuwa so I can visit there again!

I did it again but I did it for a reason — it matched my dining table! The splurge costed $ 15 and so worth it. The teapot was so cute and the handle sturdy(I spent 20 mins in the selection). There are so many tea sets, dinner sets and the quality is decent but not flimsy. Definitely coming back!

This particular location seems to be very well laid out with all their tableware sale prices labeled nicely with the correct prices. I’ve been to some of their other chain locations that are far messier and thus it makes this place much easier to shop at. Having said that however, it really is much of the same stuff you’d find at other Japanese tableware stores but at chain store prices. Cheap!

I love to shop here! All the dishes are so cute and there is a huge selection for cheap. They aren’t the best quality, but they look very nice and will do for the price you pay.

my sister-in-law introduced me to this place. they have so many awesome japanese dishware in a range of prices. they have some stuff made in china that is really cheap, but you can tell that the quality is not so good, but the have great prices on the stuff made in japan too. –especially when it’s on sale. i bought some nice serving dishes for under $ 10. we were buying new dishes everytime we went to NJ, but i just noticed they have a store right here in san jose! i need to go check that place out.
