IHOP

This IHOP was amazing. The food was amazing and the service was on point! Very attentive and good in high demand customers. It was busy but we got seated quickly and waited for our food for about 20 minutes which isn’t too bad. It’s one of the best IHop’s I’ve been to.

Service was ok. Nothing special. Our server was hella slow, I think she was a robot.
The food for some reason didn’t taste so well. I had the new chicken with potatoes and bacon plate and it didn’t taste good. (I’ve had this same plate back home and it was delicious) My stomach hurts just thinking about it…

Call ahead if you’re interested in the All You Can Eat Shrimp. This time around they won’t have any shrimp until Thursday. Disappointing. Pancakes were crunchy, steak was tough (had the steak omelette) and the waiter was not very attentive. They need to revamp this location with a more inviting staff.

Food– good. Came out fast and all five orders were correct. Service– Good. We had Lee who did an excellent job serving us. No complaints. This is one of my favorite places to dine. The place was clean and there weren’t a lot of diners when we visited.

Whenever I want to get take out they never answer the phone or it’s always off the hook! It’s so inconvenient to want take out but can’t order it over the phone! They have got to do better! I complained plenty of times before.

Yesterday I visited ihop hee in Edgewood, as a overroad driver we offen eat at alot of places along the highways and byways… but overall this ihop seems to outshine them all… guess its the management who does a fantastic job as seeing to the needs of its customers .This is something that I feel has been lost over the past years… I feel most food places are out to make a fast buck knowing that customers will come but really dont care while there in the location… ive seen them sit and never aproach a customer if theres an issue but offen set rules to follow by its employees and not for the customers only to hurt them in long run… not the case here the staff works well together there friendly polite and care too the needs of its customers .as the management oversees it as well. …this ihop is very clean and maintained and I recomend it… directions …just off interstate 95 exit 74 edgewood mountain rd exit take ramp towards edgewood, joppa past the wawa 2 lights to left
onto us route 40 east about 1 mile on left next to bp gas station pretty big parking lot its easier to make the u turn at the light past it to the location which puts u back in direction to return back to 95 either north or southbound again… enjoy

I always had a certain fondness for IHOP since my childhood (50 years ago). This location broke me of not only that fondness, but of ever eating there again. How did they manage to do this? Let me outline everything in chronological order from the point where we walked in the door.
* Waiting area was overflowing, yet over half the booths in the place were empty.
* Registered immediately, yet another party of the same size was taken before us.
* Waitress was nice, but slow, inattentive and defensive of any errors on her part.
* Found the Sweat Cream Fruit and Streusel crepes, advertised as two small crepes on the menu is actually one small crêpe with sauce on only one third of it.
* Found that for the same price, two crepes have become one, three crepes have become two, etc. Prices the same but portions are now a lot smaller.
* Did find a little extra in my meal, egg shell in the hash browns and sausage.
* «Limitless» drinks are actually limited to the few times you can either flag down a waitress, or get it yourself.
* Bait and switch! Got bill for $ 36 dollars that magically increased to $ 60 dollars when it came time for me to sign it.
I should have known when an ambulance pulled up to wheel out a patron on a gurney that this was a definite sign of trouble. Talked to the manager who did not care about any of the horrendous transgressions perpetrated upon myself, my family or other clientele. Gordon Ramsey couldn’t save this place without burning to the ground first. I am going to think long and hard before I ever consider eating at another IHOP again, and it definitely won’t be the one in Edgewood, that’s for sure!

The food was pretty good for a chain place. The aesthetic was kinda nice too. Overall, for a chain resturaunt, this place had pretty good food and was nice.

I had breakfast .well more like brunch here .it was right on time. strawberry crepes… whipped cream. hashbrown potatoes… yesss!!! its making me hungry jow just thinking about it.

This is the worst ihop in america. This Is the third time I have come here hoping things would change but they havent. Poor service poor attention to your order bacon not done I am so done that I just moved to this area and this is what I have to deal with. They always seat me the same place then act like I am invisible waiting to be waited on. Who is the manager? Does corporate know how ridiculous this is! Be prepared to be disappointed. The only reason they have one star is because you have to give something but the don’t deserve this.

It’s an Ihop. My ratings are solely based on ihop experiences in the past. It’s clean, the service is average. Not a fan of the wet wipe down on tables so you have to dry them with your napkin when you arrive at the table.
There seemed to be a manager type guy walking around giving orders to his staff, and pointing at tables to go clean while he chomped on gum with his mouth open. As a server in a previous life, this annoyed me. Maybe he’s a nice guy. At least it showed a manager who was involved and concerned.
I can’t get excited about pancakes that have no real syrup… just flavored sugars. As a kid, I loved these — now my palette has gone to pure maple. I still like that blueberry syrup tho! (shhh!) They get you on that side of toast for $ 1.40.

I called to have my order ready for me when I got there. I was placed on hold. I live 5 minutes down the street and when I got there. I STILL had to wait. Three waiters walked by me and didnt say nothing to me and I waited 10 more m Never will I go there again!!!

Meat in my omelet had been cooked before. My wife had fish and chips. The fish must have been refrozen. Thankfully the filets were tiny. The service was very. good though.
$ 1.99 for hot tea (2)and two «entrees» brought the bill to almost $ 25.
I not not recommend this IHOP.

I haven’t been to an IHop in a long time so we decided to try this one out. I signed up for their birthday club and got free pancakes. My pancakes were filling but I was kind of surprised by the portion size, I recall the pancakes being a lot larger. I am not a huge eater but someone who can really chow down would not have been satisfied with just the pancakes. My husband got an omelette which was huge AND came with a side of 2 pancakes, only for a couple dollars more than what I paid for just pancakes. I also got a pancake for my daughter. It looked good, bananas for a smile, strawberries for eyes and a yogurt for you to decorate the hair. My daughter seemed to like it.
So with all that said, we really enjoyed our meals and the service was good too. I do have one complaint and that is just with the cleanliness. Our table was dirty, pieces of food and sticky rings on the surface. The bathroom was kind of icky with some gross stuff smeared on the stall walls. Yuck!
We will probably go back since the food and service was good. Hopefully they were just having an off day with the table and bathroom wall.
