Used to *love* this place. Still love the food, the philosophy of using local, the family the homemade quality. But the prices now. Ouch. A gyro is $ 8.64 with tax and it doesn’t even seem as meaty as it used to. I work just a few blocks away in the office park and I’m afraid this place has dropped off my lunch budget list. Guess it’s Jimmy Johns and Wawa from now on. :(

Been here several times and I always order the same thing – gyro platter and cheesecake. Why change something you really like? Some of the people working there are polite and friendly, some are just there. Not making a big deal out of it. I just go there for my gyro and cheesecake and I always leave satisfied.

I stopped in for lunch here today on a drive from DC to Philadelphia. I ordered the Gyro Platter, which includes an open face gyro and a generous portion of fries. The gyro was pretty tasty. I think the pita bread was especially fresh, and the meat was tender and well seasoned. The food didn’t leave a bad taste in my mouth, but something else did. The place wasn’t full. Several tables were taken by dudes on their lunch breaks. Most of the diners were riveted to the TV, as news of a shooting in Virginia was being aired. The group of diners at one of the tables informed the server, a middle aged white/Greek? woman of the news, and her ensuing comments about the shooter’s race was something I could have done without hearing. If the staff is reading this, please remember that it’s best to leave your feelings about race and politics off the floor. You never know who’s listening.

Like the guy Daniel A. who reviewed this place on 3÷9÷2014, I’ve been here so many times, «shame on me for not writing a review until now» !! I discovered this place years ago when we were all going out for lunch as a group from work. Despite having lunch/dinner here maybe 30 times or more, my experience here is actually quite limited as far as trying the food, and this is because what I’ve tried I’ve liked so much that I just keep ordering the same things. It’s taken me years to expand my taste experience here, but I love going back. BTW, I’ve never tried their pizza, but I probably will. But why eat pizza when you can have something incredibly different! My usual meal is a sandwich or pita entrée whether it’s for lunch or dinner, and I usually add the bottled cream/orange cream soda or their homemade lemonade. Sometimes I might add the rice pudding and rarely the baklava, which are both excellent, but the baklava is usually more than I want to pay for that moment of delight! The gyro is very delicious, and I used to order it with extra tzatziki sauce(it’s homemade and chunky) until I discovered I was overdoing it, and it actually tasted a bit better without having the extra sauce. In other words, they make it with just the right amount! Other pita-based sandwiches are the Portabello mushroom pita and the all-veggie pita. My wife orders them all the time, so I thought I would try them, and when I finally did, I discovered that they are absolutely delicious! They cook them in some sort of unusual sauce, and it all comes out very tasty and quite hot(not meaning spicy hot) — they also manage to heat up the pita bread as well. One other thing I’ve tried is their cheesesteaks. I’m not a cheesesteak aficionado, but I like theirs enough to order them repeatedly. I just have them put everything on it and have found they go very well with ketchup AND mayonnaise, which I never would have guessed. A word about the venue: It’s a roomy place and very relaxed with quite a few tables, but they’re well spaced out with several of them large enough to comfortably fit six or eight if you want to go to lunch with a group. When I go at night, it always gives the impression of being uncrowded. It’s well lit but not so bright that you get eyestrain, and the staff is pleasant, although you order your meal at a counter and they bring it to you wherever you’ve decided to seat yourself. I generally bus my own table, as do the guests that I often come with, and stuff like napkins and utensils are self-service. As I said, it’s pretty relaxed, and the food is prompt and delicious!

Placed an order online through their eat 24 app, it said 45 minutes wait, after 90 minutes I contacted the store, they said that it was enroute, 40 minutes later my order shows up. They are only 2 miles away

I do not agree with anyone’s rating of this restaurant who spoke negatively about it. I have been dining here forever, in fact when I moved to Roland park I still find my self making the trip for their delicious food! Talk about family owned, this place is where it is at! If you want non authentic, chain pizza from a store with no pizzazz or story or life go to Pizza Hut, dominos, or papa johns. If you want true authentic delicious food which is hand prepared then come here. To me this is more of a carry out restaurant anyways, I’ve never sat and dined inside because I just never felt like it. I’d rather eat at home with my family. Their pizzas are delicious and desserts are even better! I love coming here I have been for almost 9 years and I will continue as long as they are serving delicious food!!!

Food is great. Gyro pita is delicious. Highly recommended. Nice interior. Front entrance could use some fresh flowers and plants to welcome new customers.

Suitable little Greek inspired shop with sandwiches and salads. The puta was fresh and soft. And I highly recommend the waffle fries!

Why only a 3 star? Food is 5 star. When calling for deliver if a male takes your order it will be messed up. Every time which is 4 times. Just my experience living here for 25 years. Ask for a female voice. When in person I feel like I’m interrupting sexual stuff going on in the back room. If I was 19, I would love to work here. But now I’m a 50 year old customer. Where is the adult supervision?

Sorry people I’m a stickler for cleanliness and this place was lacking in many areas. We were the first customers to walk in today and I my first impression can be summed up in one word — DIRTY. There was food on the table behind us from the night before. The floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The walls, the décor, everything was just old and needed to be updated desperately. I just hated the layout of is place. The menu was standard fare. We ordered some salads with chicken and the aveglemeno soup. I was honestly a bit scared to eat this stuff but I did anyway because we were so hungry. I don’t know… I guess I’m one of the few people who really didn’t like this place based on other Unilocal reviews. So take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I had the spaghetti which came with salad and garlic bread. We had a groupon so decided to try it out. Seems to be a good place for lunch. Not somewhere I would want to go for a nice dinner. The décor and furniture needs an upgrade. And the dead plants were a turn off. The spaghetti was just ok. If I go back, would just get a sandwich to go.

Before reading my review, I must admit that I am particular about the quality of chicken that I eat. I only like white meat from the breast. I was debating whether to order the chicken parmigiana sandwich or their pesto chicken pita. I asked the lady at the counter what kind of chicken they use in their chicken parmigiana sandwich — cutlet or tenders(like chicken tenders or chicken patty quality). She seemed a little annoyed that I even asked. She answered cutlet so I decided to try their chicken parm. I asked if I could have the sauce on the side instead of on the actual sandwich to avoid making a mess, and I felt as if her facial expression was that of bewilderment that I would even ask to customize my order to my liking. She explained that it comes with cheese and the sauce(which I already knew) and I explained I wanted to avoid making a mess and that is why I asked for the sauce on the side. I decided to just ask for it with light sauce since she seemed to not comprehend why the sauce should go on the side. They called out my order and I picked up the sandwich. I opened the foil wrapping and took a bite into the sandwich. I was very disappointed that the chicken they use is more similar to a chicken patty versus a breaded chicken breast cutlet(see uploaded picture). I decided not to make a big stink out of the situation and threw out the sandwich. One less option for when my co-workers on base and I decide to have lunch. 1 star for the lady’s customer service skills and quality of the chicken they use in their chicken parm sandwich. If I could give no stars, I would.

We were at the ice rink around the corner for a college hockey and stopped here for dinner before hitting the road for a 2 hour drive home. First — pleasantly surprised by the location(appears to be in the middle of no where) right off the highway. Next — pleasantly surprised again by the clean appearance of the inside. Finally — large menu was a nice surprise. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. That was fine — we didn’t really expect much more based on the location. There is a large menu board above your head that was hard for me to read. There is a menu taped to the counter which is awkward to study especially if there are other customers waiting in line(which there were not that particular day). Finally I spied some paper menus and grabbed one so I could read it more closely. There was so much on the menu it was hard to focus and decide what to get. We both settled on the gyro and a side salad. While we waited for our food to come out — the staff behind the counter were busy chatting with one another. A little too social and a little too loud for my liking. I didn’t need to hear about the local gossip, who did what over the weekend(it was Sunday afternoon at this time) and why one didn’t ask the phone order whether they wanted their sandwich«dressed» or not. Despite the chatter, our side salads came out promptly and were delicous and soon thereafter our Gyro’s came out. The Gyro’s were very good as well. I certainly wouldn’t travel 2 hours to eat there but if I am travelling in the area again and at the ice rink or hungry when I am near that exit, I would definitely stop again and would recommend My Three Sons to anyone else passing by!

Stopped here with the team for lunch after my son’s hockey game and they couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating with our group of 25. They have a great selection on their menu, from gyros to pasta to pizza and more. Everyone enjoyed their meals, no complaints at all.

I was a little bummed out because I was expecting a sit-down restaurant. It’s more like a take-out place with several tables to eat at. The dining area is nicely decorated. You place your order at the counter and then the food is brought out to your table. When my food was brought to me, the guy forgot to bring my coffee and I had to go up to the counter to remind him and then bring my coffee back to the table. I was never asked if I’d like a coffee refill, but in the end the coffee was below average anyway. The Greek salad was pretty good, with 1 stuffed grape leaf, plenty of olives and large chunks of real feta cheese instead of crumbles. The grilled chicken and pita bread was great in the salad as well. The salad dressing was less Greek and more red wine vinaigrette, I would have preferred Greek. The chicken lemon rice soup could have been a little thicker. You should be able to easily float a spoon on top of that soup. I was also a little disappointed that they didn’t have hot tea. Like how difficult is it to have bags of tea and hot water on hand? It seems that this place may focus more on their cheese steaks and pizzas to go. On the plus side, the girl who was running some food out to the dining room was cute in her yoga pants and had a nice booty!

I picked this place bc I was curious about the Greek food on the menu. It has a very extensive menu of pizza, salads, and gyros. But I was more in the mood for small plates. So I had the lentil soup and spinach pie(spanakopita — I love how auto correct wants to change this into cosmopolitan or spanking! LMAO). Both were so good! It really reminded me of having these dishes homemade by family. Also, I was pleasantly surprised how the tzatziki was very authentic tasting and fresh! My favorite part of this restaurant is the little yiayia(grandmother) is the waitress and she is so sweet and cute! truly a family run business!
