Caribou Coffee

For me this is where it all started. Caribou Coffee Edina Byerly’s is a place that is a cut above the rest of the Caribou’s in Minneapolis.
For 6 years I spent 5 mornings a week there and met some of the greatest customers and friends ever. Over the years some of the well known names included Andrea Hirsch, Sarah Strom, Andrea Lawson, Becky Williams, Courtney Comb, Don Eatom, Rachael Rubin, Teo, Dave, Sharon (the mom), Dimitri, Angie, Abby Thatcher, Liesl, Kelly, and many others.
The shop is small compared to the one across the street and the staff has changed over the years, but it is still a place where everyone knows your name (especially on Sunday mornings), where a perfect 16 oz latte still comes to .94 oz., and where you will always find a great conversation with someone who has something to say.
For many of the customers who frequent this particular Caribou — it is what a coffeeshop has always been sold to us as being (a home away from home where your drink will be ready when you walk in and your favorite chair will be waiting).
