Wow so I had their spicy lemongrass soup and I am so officially addicted. It was beautifully spicy and hot!!! So many veggies and what a lovely sauce combination with the spice and noodles. Noodles were just a little bit over cooked but nothing to be bothered about. REALLY recommend that soup if you like actually spicy soup! Made my cold go away! :))) Also, the cashier person has always been nice. I just love this Freshii concept in general!!! this is definitely not just any fast food restaurant — it’s the fast food of a healthy future.

THANKYOUFRESHII :) I have a terrible cold, and needed some vegan comfort food. Fresh Edina, MN *MORE* than surpassed my expectations. The food was delicious and very healthy — just what the Dr. ordered! I had the Spicy Lemongrass Soup w/Tofu, and a Green Energy Juice. Both hit the spot. I also ordered the Vegan Chili(to meet the DiningIn min. purchase requirement), and am excited to try that tomorrow. HIGHLYRECOMMEND!

I have been to Southdale a few times recently and I always choose to eat at this place. The salads are to die for. It’s all about healthy eating. You can choose a protein with your salad, but they are filled with a variety of indgredients like fruit and nuts. I’d never been a fan of cous-cous or quinoa unitil I came here. Their soup is also pretty flavorful, although heavy on the vegetables. Unique drinks. Fast service, usually. Don’t count this place out. Right on.

I went here on my lunch break and it was probably one of the worst lunches I have eve had. The salad was bland and the made me pay an extra $ 1.00 for not even I fourth of a size of chicken breast, they also forgot to o put it on my salad. Definitely not going back again.

Every time I’ve been to this location(3 – 4 times) I’ve had a negative experience. The food has always been bland(I don’t like spicy food but at least they could add some seasoning), and one time I had to wait 20min for my food because they were understaffed(and moving very very slowly) and out of a bunch of ingredients. They did give me a voucher for a free entrée for that, but when I redeemed it later,(chicken satay bowl) they put so few ingredients in it it was basically a bowl of bland brown rice with a few tiny cubes of chicken and a few slivers of carrot. I love the concept of fresh fast food but this place has failed in my experience and I’m done giving it extra chances.

I had the Satay bowl my and wife had the Baja burrito. Mine was good, but light on flavor. I added some sriracha and was good to go. My wife’s burrito was excellent. Great break from the norm with a healthy twist. Next time the soup is on my radar.

Minnesota desperately needed a fast-casual burrito shop that differs from the rice and tortilla bombs of Chipotle. After living in Boston for two years and experiencing the greatness that is Boloco, I cannot even think about subjecting myself to a Chipolte burrito. Freshii offers the closest thing to Boloco’s diverse menu that I have found in the Twin Cities area when it comes to fast-casual burritos. I had the Bangkok Burrito with chicken, and it brought me back to my times in Boston ordering the same type. My wife had the Baja Burrito with fried tofu and quinoa. This was a welcome addition to the burrito world that are so commonly white rice and meat(just a reminder, guac is extra ;-)) **note: avocado is standard on the Baja** The menu boasts more than just burritos(bowls, sandwiches, smoothies, soups, fro-yo). We only tried the burritos this time but we will likely be back when we shop at Southdale, given the experience we had the first time.

I really like what they are going for here. A fast(ish) food court option that has some legit nutritional value. Options include superfood smoothies, wraps, salads, burritos and sauté bowls. I tried the Buddha bowl which had rice noodles tossed with a peanut sauce which had a little bite, along with carrots, peanuts and little broccoli pieces. It was way more than I could finish, a very generous portion. It was tasty but I might have enjoyed it more if I had decided to pay the up-charge for chicken, salmon or tofu. I normally loathe food court food because it’s so greasy, but i think I can humor my burrito loving, cheese fries inhaling boyfriend every once in a while if this place is an option for me.

I was out attempting to find a shower curtain at the mall, something I have no skill at whatsoever, when I spotted Freshii. Intrigued, I followed the signs to this healthy fast food alternative. The green signs and exposed fresh vegetables instantly made me happy because this is the type of place that I want to see more of, especially a quick stop for those of us who don’t eat fast food and struggle on road trips! They have a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and proteins that can be added to your order. You can choose from their prepared salads, bowls, burritos, wraps and smoothies, or you mix and match your own concoction with a check off list menu. Everything listed is vegetarian but a variety of proteins including, tofu, chicken, salmon, steak, and grains among other things. The price is right with hardly anything above $ 8(pre-protein) and their proteins range from $ 0.50-$ 4.00. I opted for one of their prepared wraps as I was interesting in what it meant by ’ wrapped in collard greens.’ Was this real? Was it double wrapped with a tortilla as well? Turns out, I got a leafy green wrap, called the Superbiotic Green Wrap, so the name was absolutely correct. It is filled with chickpeas, cucumbers, corn, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, onions, all with cucumber dill dressing, all for $ 6.49! Sounds fabulous right? Unfortunately, it just didn’t have any taste, the sauce was almost unheard of and really, the big pieces of usual leafy goodness just wasn’t cutting it for me, it was easy enough to pull apart, but the taste got to be too much by the end. I want this place to do well, and it is a chain that has only popped up in a few cities around the country, and hopefully it can grow and really pay attention to the taste instead of just proving a place can be full of fresh foods because I want people to eat like this when they are in a rush! I will try it again, but it will be something different.
