Placid Pines Pub is an absolute gem in this area! We got into town late on Friday, 4⁄22 and we were hungry/​thirsty. When we got to Placid Pines, they were actually only doing fried food because of the time, but that did not really matter because their wings, onion rings, and fries were awesome! The jukebox has a flawless selection of older country music. The bartender, Dawn and the owners were SO nice. The place is spotless. The pool table is awesome.
Placid Pines Pub is a must-​visit while in the Great Sacandaga Lake area!

This place is diamond in the ruff. Hope I said that right. Stopped for a meeting, stayed for dinner and drinks. Dinner was absolutely fantastic. Dinner specials every weekend. Staff was absolutely the best. Owner noticed I was speaking to another couple for quite a while and offered to warm up my dinner. We will definitely be returning. Can’t wait to try all there menu items. I had encrusted haddock and my husband had shrimp scampi. It was so good, I couldn’t wait to eat my leftovers the next day.
