No complaints here. Came here on a whim to get my Michael Kors pumps repaired. I was in and out in less than 3 minutes. My girlfriend from work comes here all the time for her shoes and she has had very good luck. It was $ 10 to get the heels redone. I will be back!

This was my 5th time using the shop, for my men’s dress shoe repairs. He doesn’t give you a receipt, and you need to pay up front, and he really wants cash. He can and does take credit cards. The work is great, the cost is expensive. Heels with taps, and shine 40. Last year it was 25. If you want a shine, with any repairs, make sure you ask for it, 5 more. Full leather soles and heel was 85, with shine. Last year a half sole with heel and taps, was 55. I feel like he makes up the prices on the fly, I am conflicted cause he really does great work, but with a high price.

He does a good enough job, but his prices are high and the customer service is lacking When I picked up my shoes I lifted them up to look at the work and he was sort of obnoxious, like I had no right to check his work. Also, he only does the bare minimum. For example, where I used to live, if you took your shoes in for a heel repair or something, when you picked them up they would also be shined. Not with this guy. If you can find another shoe repair place in the area try it first. Unfortunately, it looks like he’s the only game in town — and he knows it.

The man does an outstanding job of repair. He does not give you a ticket so make sure you know what your shoes or whatever you leave there looks like because you may have to identify it again. As of late, payment is required in advance. Very glad I found this place because he does do excellent work.

This repair shop is nestled next to a laundromat in the Colonial Village Shops off Rt 27 in Edison. I’ve used their services to repair a broken shoe strap and was very happy with the cost and post condition since it extended the life of one of my favorite shoes. In my room lay a leather wristlet which remained unused for a year because I prefer a shoulder strap, but then I recently thought to bring it to Ace since I’ve seen luggage being repaired at the shop. I noticed the leather tassel decoration on the wristlet and advised the owner that he could manipulate the extra leather decoration to fashion into a longer strap. After examining the wristlet and listening to my suggestions, the owner was able to provide a solution. The finished product has enabled me to finally make use of the gift given to me awhile ago. I’m very satisfied with Ace and the quality of work for the cost. I would recommend Ace for your leather repair needs.
