I was hesitate about having my daughter’s prom dress alter here, base of some of the reviews with their clothes not being ready in time. I decided to come here being that other tailors were booked. I must say Heida did a phenomenal job on my daughter’s prom dress, her dress fit like a glove. The only thing was that we came back 3x times because the dress wasn’t ready on the date we agreed upon. I drop the dress of 2 wks prior to prom, and was supposed to pick it up on June 1^st, but was called on that day to pick it up the following day. When we went there on June 2^nd the dress still wasn’t ready, that’s when I got nervous cause the following day was prom. However Heida insisted that the dress would be ready the following day by noon. When I went there on June 3^rd the dress was finally completed, and she alter it so well that it looked like my daughter’s dress was custom made. I do highly recommend her due to the work that she did, but just be aware that your clothes won’t be ready on the day that she tell you lol. Despite that she’s a dam good tailor!!!

I came here for alterations on my pants because of the fantastic reviews on Unilocal,however, everything seemed a bit rushed except my service. The young man doing the alterations was really nice, but maybe they needed an extra hand or two being it was around prom season. I was told to come back a week later for a simple hem. I came back a week and a day later and my pants weren’t even started. I was then asked to come back the next day, which I couldn’t. I asked for a refund which was issued right away. $ 50 for a hem and zipper repair was quite expensive so a refund didn’t sound to bad after all.

Definitely the best tailor shop around! I had my sisters wedding dress altered there and they did an amazing job! Everyone was so professional and helpful, it was great. My father has purchased suits from there as well and they are all great quality. I would recommend this tailor shop to anyone and everyone.

If you ever need alterations, this is the place to go. They were very professional and let me know what needed to be done. I was a little nervous about her dress, being ready in time for her prom. Sure enough, it was done. They took great care of me and my daughter. Thanks for making her Prom special.

Worst Customer Service Ever!
I will never go here ever again. This place is ridiculously overpriced and they treat their customers with such disrespect.
I brought a bridesmaid dress in to have it taken in prior to my friend’s wedding this weekend. They told me the dress would be ready on Saturday after 5pm. I get a phone call with a woman who told me my dress hasn’t even been started and it’s not ready at all. She told me I should maybe come in on Monday. I turn around and I’m halfway home and she tells me she never made a phone call to me and my dress is ready. I told her I’d be back on Monday to get the dress as well as my boyfriend’s suit. The seamstress was not there when I went in to try on my dress. It was still too big.$ 85 dollars later.
She said she would change the zipper on the dress, it was still the original zipper.
She said she would «add a bra», I see no bra added. The most they did was add boning underneath the bust which serves no purpose at all except make the dress impossible to bend over in.
My friend had the alterations estimated at a different shop, $ 45!!! I paid almost double!
Originally when I came in I felt this business would be worth my time so I also left a pair of expensive jeans to fix the zipper. She completely replaced the zipper with an ugly bulky one and charged me $ 25 without my consent. I told the girl that is way too much and she told me verbatim «Your jeans had no zipper in it so we had to put zipper in it.» So you’re telling me I brought in a pair of $ 100 jeans that came with no zipper? «Yes». She tells me she would call the owner. She hangs up the phone and offers no apology except «That will be $ 25».
Seriously, I know how to sew and I regret having them touch any of my belongings. The most the zipper should have cost was $ 15.

I take all my clothes here for alterations. Hilda’s work is excellent and priced very competitively. She has fixed work that others have botched and done expert alterations on new clothes for me.
So far I’ve had:
several hems
jackets taken in
sleeves shortened (shirts and jackets)
darts added to shirts (life changing!)
and no complaints. The work is excellent quality.
