Worst experience ever! Staff member seemed bothered when I asked to eat in for lunch. Also, the food was just sub-par. Will not eat there again!

My favorite chinese place in the area. Reasonable prices and the food is always quality. Not a a fancy meal, but it’s not trying to be.

Cheng’s is located one block from where I have lived for the last 8 years. I am giving it one star based upon how decrepit and dirty it looks from outside as I would never dare enter here. I never see any cars in the parking lot and always wonder how this restaurant stays in business and who would eat here. I really wish a new restaurant would open in it’s location as it would be super convenient as it is so close to my home.

Expensive awful food in a dingy environment. Normally I can completely overlook the environment, but that requires a redeeming quality. Maybe if the food was good. Maybe if it was cheap. It is neither.

Egg roll, hot and sour soup were awesome. Done to perfection. Lo mein was dry and szechuan chicken had a foul, inedible odor and taste. Had to put it outside after 1 bite. Quick and friendly though!

FAN-TAS-TIC! Stayed at the Marriott Courtyard around the corner– I didn’t have a menu but they patiently answered all my questions. Great food, quick delivery and they even put in cups, plates and flatware that I forgot to ask for. HIGHLYRECOMMENDED!

Cheng’s Café, located at 791 Amboy Ave in Edson, NJ is nothing short of excellent! Right at the intersection of 514 and 531, near the Hess Express, just off i-287, it has a decent amount of parking about 12 spaces. It’s a tan two-story building, with a blue awning and a large sign. the interior has two different doors you can enter from, two private restrooms and about 10 tables to sit at. The counter has pictures of customers as well as all the licenses and permits. There are many oriental paintings and a huge bamboo ship there also! the food is good, they have an all you can eat lunch buffet(11:30−2pm) where its just 5.95, plus free soup, which is usually wonton. if you’re lucky miss lili cheng will cook some chicken noodle soup for you. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. They also have menu dining serving various Chinese and American items like salad, steak, hamburgers, BLT, chicken wings, seafood, orange flavored chicken, roast duck, lo mein, pepper steak and hunan chicken. General Tso’s is my favorite! Great for a group or business outing, they also delivery locally. BYOB and catering available. Accepts Cash, Visa, Mastercard and Amex.
