K Produce Farm

It’s not named K Produce Store anymore, but the location still exists with the same owners.

I’m a HUGE FAN OF K PRODUCE FARM!!!
I moved to Edison about 4 years and have been going to different supermarkets because I am a picky buyer.
Things I don’t like:
— OVERPAYING unless I buy in bulk (but I don’t like to have bulky items at home!)
— It’s enough that I am in the supermarket for 1 hour, do I need to have slow cashiers?
— I HATE when I see the staff restocking the «fresh produce» by picking out the bad to put them with the GOOD. I see this a lot in those large supermarkets especially with the half rotten/​moldy strawberries. they just picked them out and sell the rest to you!
Why I love K Produce:
— The freshest of all!!! I am not kidding. When I buy cilantro, spinach, or any other fresh veggies, they are always clean (I still clean them at home) but I don’t have to rinse as many times.
— You get more and still play less! I am not kidding you. I can buy a HUGE beautiful bunch of cilantro for 99 cents when i need to pay almost $ 2 at the supermarket. Tomatoes are about 99 cents a pound! People always wonder why I buy so many avocados when they are so expensive. the secret is this place. they are about 50 cents each and they are the larger avocados (they also sell the smaller hass avocados).
— Variety — though this is a little produce store, they have a nice decent selection. You can still find different types of tomatoes, lettuce, etc.
— Organized! They have like 2 workers that does a good job of stocking and organizing the produce. I never have to flip to find the best tomato because everything they have are fresh and the best.
— Not only do they sell fresh produce, they have a small nursery outside filled with seasonal plants and flowers at better prices than Lowes and Home Depot!
— great LOCATION! This place is in the middle of the plaza. I buy all the fresh produce that I can buy here. anything that I am missing (meats etc), I’ll go to A&P Supermarket which is behind this place in the same plaza. Convenient, right?
I’m there once a week and I always come out spending about $ 25 — isn’t that great?!

Great quality fruits and vegetables! Really good prices on most. I’ll def be a regular here. Fresh herbs are a fraction of what i pay at the grocery store and so much better quality.
