Let me tell you about this store and it’s products. The store. What a great store. The sales staff are great. I worked with Sven and another fellow who’s name I regretfully forget. I think the thing I like the best was there was no pressure. They both seemed to have the attitude that they knew the product was of quality and worth the price. They politely and patiently walk me through the process and although the Sac I bought was pricey the no interest financing made the purchase very easy. The product. What a wacky concept but it works. I bought a very large Sac. I’m not sure if it’s the largest but it has to be one of the largest. It came with a stool and a drink holder. They brought it out to my car. It comes in a bag condensed. I figure they must suck all the air out and squeeze it into a large very sturdy duffle bag. When I removed it from the bag it took about 2 days to expand to its full size. My girlfriend and I watch TV in it and fit very comfortably. I highly recommend this product and the store.

I had two very different experiences buying from Lovesac. Unfortunately, the five star service at the store was overshadowed by the horrendous ‘white glove’ delivery service. First, the customer service I received from Nicole at the store was amazing. In fact, her knowledge of the product was what ultimately convinced me to return to the store to buy my couch. The product itself is also very impressive and unique. I figured the very high price tag was due to the superior product, warranty, and customer service. Everything was going great until it was time for the actual delivery. Lovesac uses a third party delivery service so consistency seems to be the issue. This can be extremely harmful to their brand if they don’t get more control over delivery. After a few weeks went by, I called Lovesac to see when I could expect delivery. I’m not sure why, but I was never given a person to contact at the delivery company so had to use Lovesac as the go between. This annoyed me and raised yet another red flag. Next, there was never a clear time frame for delivery other than they would call you the night before?! Umm, most people have jobs that aren’t flexible enough to call off that quickly. I have no clue why it has to be so difficult to scheduled a delivery date. We are in the age of technology. Build a freakin app or something already. Finally, I was given a generic email address for the delivery company because my building needed proof of insurance. This also annoys me when they give a generic email address instead of a name and number. I was wondering if this company even existed. So I send the email request and never heard back and my building never received a fax. I’m told they are supposed to arrive tomorrow from Lovesac, but have yet to hear for sure from the actual deliver company. Plus my building have delivery time restrictions that I tried to make them aware of, but they failed to contact me. So even if they come tomorrow, they may not have the proper documentation and/or time frame for me to accept delivery. What a joke! This should be the easiest part of the sale and now if they don’t arrive tomorrow, I will be canceling my order and moving on. Bottom line: Lovesac is trying to pretend to be an ultra high end company with bottom of the barrel delivery service. I really feel bad posting such a negative rating given how great customer service was at the store. I will consider revising my rating if this note makes it to upper management and they inform me that they have changed delivery methods. Oh, and a discount off my insanely expensive couch would be nice compensation for my trouble. By the way, for those of you that think I’m just a hater on Unilocal,this is only my second negative review of a business thus far.

We were finishing our basement and have a very narrow stairway leading down so we had to be creative in what furniture we purchased. Lovesac was the answer, the furniture looked great and was easy to assemble and configure to our space. THEN we got flooded during Sandy! We went back and spoke to Sven. We decided to order their outdoor furniture for indoors in the hopes that it will handle any water/moisture issues in the future, plus if we need to clear out the basement ahead of future storms we can easily do so. Now, we were buying at the end of the season so inventory was limited but Sven went ABOVE and beyond, calling other stores and warehouses to get us what we needed. We are very happy with the furniture-it looks great! Thanks to Sven and everyone at Lovesac! We will be back in the spring to get a few more pieces.

I have wanted to shop at Lovesac for three years now. I always thought it was a bit too expensive. But now that I have bought it, I know why. it is well worth every penny you spend! This store and it’s customer service is as good as it gets! The store has a great selection of pieces on the floor and the salespersons are exceptional! You can’t ask for more! I am a very indecisive person who happened to go to the store twice. First I met Sven who sat us down and spoke to us for 40 – 45 minutes. He explained how the sactionals work and what configuration would suit our needs the best. Also told us in great detail about the fabric and the ongoing deals. He drew us designs on paper with measurements but we weren’t sure. So we got back home, took more measurements and returned to the store in a couple of weeks. This time we wanted a different configuration. We met with Jay. He was unbelievable too!!! He also painstakingly made various designs on paper with measurements and the floor plan. He even gave us numerous ideas on how to plan the room around our couch — from where to put the TV and bookcase etc! This was definitely so unexpected. Customer service from these guys was simply uhmazzzing!!! After spending two hours we finally decided on a config and ordered the couch. Once we received the couch we didn’t like the configuration as much as we thought we would. Jay and Sven graciously offered to come by all the way to Hoboken and figure out what would work the best for us and put it all together for us. Who does that? Seriously! After their visit we ended up ordering another side and we couldn’t be happier! At first I wasn’t able to justify my very expensive purchase. But now that everything is put together and after the service I received, I know I made the right choice!

I got my Lovesac a few months ago from this store. Regardless of the time passed, I still had to write about my wonderful experience! Originally, my intentions of going into the store was only to check out the color that was being offered online for an amazing deal with the Pillowsac. I was asked if I needed help, so I explained the situation. They showed me the color and unfortunately I hated it. For the next hour, the employees went above and beyond to make sure I left there with all of the items that the deal online offered, for the same price, and in a color I loved! The specific employees who helped me with this purchase were Josh, John & Tabitha. I cannot thank you all enough for your efforts that helped give me my favorite piece of furniture!

The service at this store was really great. Very laid back and not pushy while the knowledge of the staff was great. If they don’t know an answer, they call their manager, even after the mall closes(we were there that long asking questions) and get answers. Jay and Sven followed up with me via email and let me know about new sales, as I requested. We were able to get a limited edition sactional at a great price thanks to these two. I wish all big ticket purchases could be so easy.

On a whim(at least to me, maybe the wife had other plans) we went into the Lovesac store in the mall and she saw the Supersac in fox phur. She sat down and loved it. Now, those of you who don’t know my wife, she asks a lot of questions, whether we’re at a restaurant, clothing store, pretty much anyplace. The sales staff were very patient with her and answered all her questions. I’m guessing since it’s a furniture store, albeit not your ordinary furniture store, they get a lot of people who come to look, sit down and try the furniture and leave. We spent at least 45 min trying to decide what size Sacs we wanted, how many and what color. They had a sale going on, so we decided to pick the colors that were on sale, and we decided to get 2 of the Supersacs, instead of one Supersac and one Moviesac(a little smaller), because we would always be fighting for who got to sit in the bigger one(me!). They explained how they are packaged, all squished down into their own duffel bag, but we weren’t done shopping for the day, so they said to bring the car to a specific mall entrance, call them and they would meet us there in 5 min. So we went about the rest of our day, had dinner and then went to get the sac’s. Sure enough, they brought them out on dolly’s and helped get them into the car. If you’re buying 2, make sure you have enough room, or you’ll be making two trips home! I’ll continue the review once we have a chance to open them up and get them placed…
