Master Clips Barber Shop

I was visiting from out of town and went to Felipe this morning. Came in for a haircut and beard shape up and he did an awesome job. Definitely recommend, and will be back again when I visit.

Great barber shop, always perfection. I have been with this guys 5 years loyal because is no better place around the area. I come here al the way from Hoboken to get my haircut as I move and could not fine a replacement.

Frank and his staff are AMAZING. If you want a great quality hair cut and be in the presence of true craftsmanship this is the spot to check out. If it’s your first time just tell Frank what you want and he’ll make sure you get hooked up. I haven’t heard of any negative complaints from anyone whenever I go. 100% recommend

I went here based on the reviews in Unilocal and that they were open late on a Monday night. Overall it was a very good choice, my haircut was done very well and the price was fair. I did feel a little out of place, as everyone seemed to speak Spanish except me. But it was still a good experience.
Alex has done a great job with my hair, I will continue to go there, this will be my 3^rd time.

Franklin is the best barber in middlesex county. I’ve tried all the barber shops in my area. I’ve been coming here for about 2 years now. All the guys in master clips are very professional. Trust me try them out. Prices are very reasonable which means the same as any other barber shop. I’m glad I found master clips.

I wish I had discovered this business sooner, as I had been getting haircuts from haircut chains that employed middle-​aged women who didn’t know how to cut my thick, straight Asian hair. These guys are versed in all the most recent styles and really take their time to make every haircut a masterpiece: you should budget 10 – 20 minutes for the wait (first-​come, first serve) and another half hour for the actual haircut. Every haircut is finished with a straight razor shave at the back of the neck.
My only complaint is the parking lot, which only has about 10 parking spaces, and is shared with a run-​down laundromat and an Indian restaurant. A brick wall obscures most of the parking lot from Rt. 27, creating a horrible blindspot for cars entering and exiting, and there’s almost no space for two-​way traffic. Also, the advertised «free wi-​fi» has been non-​existent during my last three visits.
All things considered, other customers and I keep coming back because of the consistently high quality of service. Spare $ 15+tip and an hour of your time to see what you and your hair have been missing.

Moved to the area from Philly several months ago and had been getting my hair cut in the city during work because I couldn’t find a local spot that I liked. Went to this place because of the reviews and I was not disappointed. It was a bit intimidating going in because it was filled with locals sitting around. But after my very first cut I left knowing I was coming back. Made an appointment with Dioni a month or so later and have been back every month since. $ 12 and they take their time to do it right, extremely detailed.
UPDATE: Had to come back and change my 4 stars to 5. These guys are great.

I’m usually not the person to leave negative reviews but this place was such a disappointment. I won’t name any names but the kid who cut my hair did a terrible job. He couldn’t speak English so he didn’t even cut my hair the way I showed him. It’s especially annoying since I showed him a picture of exactly what I wanted which was just a simple short haircut. It honestly seemed like it was his first day cutting hair. If you’re gonna work at a Barber shop, at least learn some simple English so I can describe to you what exactly I want. I just washed my hair and it looks absolutely awful. I would love to see who hired this kid and made the idiotic decision of letting him cut hair. I wouldn’t even let him sweep the hair off the floor. I’m being a little harsh but after washing my hair I noticed how bad it really is. For your own good, go to a professional place where the barbers actually know how to hold a pair of scissors.

The guy cleaned up the sides nicely, but He definitely didn’t know how to use scissors. Terrible job on top, completely uneven. If you’re just looking for a buzz and a fade, it’s a fine place, fair prices. But don’t ask them to do anything with scissors…

I bring my son here to get his haircuts/​shape ups and I am always amazed at their attention to detail. The prices are very reasonable compared to other local barbershops and the atmosphere is family friendly which I appreciate. My sole complaint is that they don’t take appointments so be prepared to wait.

The best of the best. Any type of hair cut you need this is the shop to go to. I’ve been getting my haircut by Franklin for over 5 years and he never disappoints.

I think I have finally found the perfect barbershop for me. The place is down to earth with very friendly and masterful barbers. The barbers welcome you and make you feel at home. Joey gave me one of the best cuts I had in years. He was so attentive to details and took his time giving me the perfect cut. I highly recommend this place and I’m definitely going to be a regular here.

Absolutely phenomenal experience. Came in around 2:10 on a Sunday, about 20 minutes before they closed. There was about 5 people in front of me. Joey was supposed to leave after his current haircut. But when I was the last one waiting and Franklin, Edgar, and the father were working on other clients Joey said he would take me. Joey made me feel 100% comfortable. He took his time and engaged me and talked to me throughout the whole haircut. He didn’t rush me or anything. Gave me a great cut, fantastic shave and eyebrows. I will definitely make the 30 minute trip to come back. Highly recommend! Eyebrows, Shave, and haircut with Tip, $ 30. Well worth it. Extremely friendly! A++++

This has been my go to barbershop for the past 2 years. Don’t come expecting a 15 minute haircut, these guys take their time and it’s well worth it. Everyone from the first chair down to the last one is more than capable of giving you an excellent hair cut. Just one of the best barbershops around.

Decided to go to this place after being tired of sub-​par haircuts. I’m extremely glad I came here – they are friendly and are masters of their craft. The amount of precision that Alex put in to my haircut is incredible. These aren’t just barbers; they’re artists. Definitely going to come back here again!

Franklin has been cutting my husband and sons hair for over 10 years. It is an honor to watch how he has taken his talent and established such an awesome shop along with Edgar and Joey who do exceptional work as well. I’ve been going to Franklin for a long time now and he never fails. The atmosphere at this place is very down to earth and chill. Franklin, Joey, and the rest of the guys know what they are doing and always give you what you ask for. You can always count on lookin fresh when leaving the shop.

I have been trusting Franklin, Edgar and Joey with my hair as well as my sons for over seven years. Coming here is like coming to visit friends. That’s how friendly the atmosphere is. On top of that they are the best barbers in town. Meticulous and masters of their craft. Which means if you are looking for a fast hair cut this is not the place for you. However if you want to ensure that you are getting a professional haircut then this is the only place to go in Edison. They deserve ten stars not five.

What can I say for all of us old school old. World Barber Shop experiences this is the place. Staff is great Franklin Joey and Edgar are not only accomplished Barbers but also engage there customers on events sports and family. It’s always nice to banter back and forth and have both a fun and entertaining hair cutting experience. Joey will keep you laughing and Edgar keeps me informed of the really good placed to eat while I’m getting an expert haircut although with me theirs not a lot to cut. Lol
I recommend this place if you want to have a great haircut and an overall fun time. It’s a must once you go the first time you will be back.
