Parsonage Hill Village

Pros —
1. Walking distance to Roosevelt Park, Menlo Park Mall and Target.
2. Close to NJ Transit train station to NYC.
3. Easy access to major highways — US1, GSP, I-​287, etc.
Cons —
1. Floor quality. Hear cracking noise when anyone walks on the upper floors even when they have carpets.
2. Safety Issue. Door locks are not proper. There was a burglary in one of the apartment recently.
3. They have closed rental office in this community and it is merged/​managed commonly by rental office of the opposite community.

David Hackett is the person whom i interacted with while taking an apartment here. He is a great guy, i had no problems actually he is honest prompt and will tell you everything truthfully, i am giving 4 star for maintenance as there is definitely a room for improvement.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Unless you don’t mind:
1) waiting too long on maintenance to get done.
2) dealing with one of the most rude and unprofessional staff
to include the manager who do not even live in Edison and only work there thus devaluing the city of Edison and disgracing New Jersey.
3) potentially getting burglarized (yes, I am a victim) from people with key access!!!
4) potentially getting your car broken in or stolen! (This never has happened to me but I have heard from other tenants and even the staff!).
The only Pros of living here are:
1) Walking distance to Roosevelt Park.
2) Close to the train station to NYC.
3) Easy access to major highways.
…but, it is very unfortunate to see a very rude, unprofessional, non-​Edison resident personnel staff ruining the area!
Again, DO NOT MOVE and do yourself a favor by saving the headache and spending money on living elsewhere than here!
Thank God I no longer live there!
