Average quality food and cleanliness. I ordered phở and spring rolls.

I would say 3.5 stars. This place is good for what it is. Decent phở, so-so spring rolls, and okay rice dishes. For the location on Route 27, its a good spot. I usually get the special mixed meat bowl and my girl gets the beef bowl usually. We also always get the spring rolls but its starting to wear on me. The phở is quite good but just like someone else had commented, you do leave with MSG tastebuds. For a quick affordable Vietnamese fix, it does the trick. If you are looking for out of this world food, you will be disappointed. Come ready for a no-frills okay meal, and you will be satisfied.

Affordable for the food that you get. It is nice on a cold winter day but I am always down to eat phở. However this isn’t the best phở I had. The service is good considering they have customers constantly going in and out of the restaurants. I always order the large combination bowl, and it fills my stomach. The place is kind of small for a big group of people. The owners are really nice and friendly, however I feel a MSG taste after I finish my food.

I’ve been visiting this place for about a year. The food is good. I’ve never eaten in — I phone in in my order and hubby picks it up. No issues with calling it in and he says the lady usually at the front is super nice. My only con is that it’s a little pricey for what you get. I usually order the vermicelli with shrimp(which is more expensive) and most times, I’m lucky if I get 3 shrimp. But the spring rolls are great — my kid devours them. If you’re in the area, I would definitely put them on your list.

This is one of the best vietnamese restaurants around the area! The food comes out really quick and tastes like it’s homemade.

First I would like to say that I have been going here for over ten years. When I was a college freshman I was brought here and never looked back. Locally, this is the best phở you can get. Comes out piping hot and delicious. Portions are great you never leave hungry. The same lady has been serving me for 10 years. She’s quick on her toes so while some may feel rushed she’s just eager to get your order. And believe me, it’s comes super fast. I mean within minutes your appetizer(I recommend the spring rolls or sharing a bahn mi sandwich) also the phở just instantly appears in front of you. They are super quick. Use all the toppings, the thai basil, bean sprouts, squeeze the lime in just toss it all in and mix. If you like it spicy squeeze in the siracha. The world is your oyster. Anyway, our bill for two large bowls of phở and spring rolls came out to be $ 20. You can’t beat that! So its not like 5 star environment but trust the food is legit and good. Tip: credit card minimum is $ 20 so if you’re not used to carrying cash just consider that. Help a small business out!

One of my go-to viet spots. My only complaint is that the phở bowls don’t give you much of the tripe, tendon, other items even in the big combo bowl. But flavor is good, egg rolls good, and my favorite is #47– bbq pork with rice sticks. This is the reason I love coming here. Most other places don’t offer this. Bring cash there’s a credit card min of 20 or 25 I forget.

Food is below average and the appetizers are pricy based on the amount it serves. Tried the phở and tasted strange(unlike the taste I’m familiar with at other places).

This place is so dirty and sticky everywhere that I just got up and left without ordering. The waiters could not answer any of my questions because they did not speak a word of English. I could not imagine eating here without getting sick. So my guest and I just left. I have been to many Vietnamese restaurants but this one took the cake in terms of dirtiness. I felt I would catch hepatitis just sitting there. Do not waste your trip here.

Went here a total of two times, once with my friend and then a second time with my roommates and the food is absolutely delicious. I have tried the Phở, pork with broken rice and vietnamese iced coffee and it is so good. The prices are so fair as well! $ 7 for a good plate of food, can’t beat it. Definitely a favorite. The egg roll was really good too!

yumm. Went there last week with family after a long time away from eating here. While the atmosphere is like a hole in the wall place, the food here distracts from it. The phở is delicious; soup is tasty, just the right amount of noodles and more generous with meat than i’ve had at some other phở places. Could use more basil though, since 2 sprigs would not be enough for a lover of phở. The viet fried spring rolls were also good.

This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in the area. The owner is always smiling and provides great customer service. The food is always spectacular, not to mention their foods are family recipes. I really recommend their phở

Great phở! I came here with my family and two babies. The owner was super accommodating about our seating arrangements and helping us get the high chairs in the right positions around the table. As we had 10 people total, we ordered lots of the fried spring rolls to share. It was really good. A disappointing point was when they didn’t have salt + pepper squid, which we all REALLY wanted. That being said, their Phở is pretty good. The meat was just the right amount of raw. Great flavor. I was slightly disappointed by the tiny sliver of tripe in my combination order since that is usually my favorite part. All in all, I would definitely come back and maybe order the combination with extra tripe!

I was craving phở for a while and I found this little gem hidden in Edison. From the appearance most wouldn’t think too much of it but the food here is excellent(although I only ate phở here). The prices are also very cheap. So unless you are in a big group, bring cash because there is a minimum for card and it is strictly enforced. Phở. I haven’t ever had phở this good before. The flavor was very rich and you just want to finish it all. It’s no problem finishing it because it’s perfectly tailored to your tastes(you add additional sauces such as Siracha and Hoisin sauce). I’ve been to a few phở places in NYC and those places cannot compare to this. This is just phenomenal. The phở just feels very homemade because of how much the customer is in charge of their own phở.

Fantastic, inexpensive food for semi-adventurous eaters who want the down-home comfort of hot Phở or the flavor and texture explosion of a broken rice and grilled pork dish. The only reason they don’t get five stars is because they never, ever seem to have banh mi.

I was really craving phở and wanted to try a new place, so I came here. But I wasn’t too impressed. The phở was average, and it did a quick fix for my cravings! However the service was very bad. My friend and I were literally the only customers at that time because it wasn’t lunch or dinner time, but when we finished our glass of water, no one came to refill. Also, we waited 10 min for the waiter to check on us or give us the check, no one came by, so I went up to the counter instead. Lastly, it has a $ 15 minimum credit card, which is kind of inconvenient! But the bowl of phở wasn’t expensive.

My favorite phở restaurant in the area. Out of the 3 that I tried in the Edison area, I like it here the most. The veggies are fresh and the food tastes great. I always get the beef noodle soup and the Vietnamese iced coffee. Their iced coffee is the best that I’ve tried so far. Sometimes I get the spring rolls and they don’t disappoint either. The place isn’t fancy but the lady that runs it is very nice. If you’re looking for some good phở in the area then this is the place I would recommend.

I haven’t had Vietnamese food at a restaurant for so long that when my cousin took us here I was so happy. Got my usual order at a PHO restaurant which is always a rice dish with shredded pork and pork chops and it taste as good as I remember. I don’t order Phở at any restaurant because I am not a total fan but if I was to eat it I would rather have my mom’s phở. We also ordered eggrolls and springroll and I don’t have anything bad to say about that. It was just good to eat something that reminds me of my mom home cook meals. I wouldn’t mind going here again when visiting my cousin.

Authentic appearing Vietnamese restaurant. Probably the best Viet I’ve had in central NJ(though that in itself isn’t saying much). They have Vietnamese omelets, which is cool. The summer rolls are very good, especially the sauce. The phở itself was flavorful if a bit too salty. Meat was a bit scarce but on par with other NJ restaurants I’ve been to(it’s gotta be a NJ thing — in NYC I am used to a lot more meat with my phở). They gave a lemon instead of a lime with the phở even though the owners are most definitely Vietnamese. I guess we can stop making fun of Chinese owned Vietnamese restaurants now for doing that? Many good Vietnamese drink selections on the menu apparently though I didn’t try any. Service was great. Very close location to H-Mart is a big plus to my wife and I… why don’t people just drive here to eat rather than at the terri-bad H-Mart food court which is always packed?
